This hotel feels somewhat like you are going back in time. The staff wear German ethnic attire, the linens are changed out every day and the hotel has lots of amenities. To name a few: fluffy towels, a complimentary putt-putt golf course, piano concerts in the evening, robes in the rooms, excellent location, lots of seating areas within the hotel. There is even a little area where guests can warm up food in a microwave, which is nice if you have a doggie bag from a local restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The workout room is pretty minimal and adding some weights to the equipment would be helpful. The rooms had refrigerators, which was much appreciated, but no safes. The pillows were hard and left something to be desired. We paid for an upgraded room with a balcony, but it turned out to overlook the parking lot. However, the star experience of the stay was the fabulous breakfasts each morning. The myriad choices were staggering....so many delicious items from which to choose. All in all, the Enzian was a great choice.

We are currently staying at the hotel and are satisfied in all respects. Charming hotel at the foot of the historic city so convenient to visit. Everything is refined: from German furniture to decoration. Swimming pool reserved for adults rather cold and other pool better temperature but invaded by children from 5 pm. Breakfast is fantastic and what a view! Our room, albeit with balcony, is small but the bathroom is very large and functional with shower and bathtub and various toiletries replenished daily. This is becoming rare even in 5-star hotels. Soft bathrobes. Probably the best hotel in town.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The breakfast spread was amazing, the pool options were wonderful, and we loved the extra amenities like the game room, golf, movie nights, and live piano music in the lobby. The only minor downside was the noise from the lobby could be heard in our hotel room, which was a bit disruptive. As repeat customers, this was a new experience for us as we’ve never been placed in that busy of a spot (room 103 next to the public restroom and front desk) ). We tried to change rooms to ensure a quieter experience but were told it would be quite a bit more $$$. Despite that, our overall stay was enjoyable and we look forward to returning.

A delightful hotel within walking distance of the glorious Leavenworth Shops. The breakfast buffet is the best I have ever seen, with a wide range of foods for all ages and tastes. Accompanied by the famous Alphorn each morning. The rooms are comfortable and embrace the town's Bavarian theme. Lots of activities including hot tub/pool, indoor golf, movies, fitness rooms, board game table and more. Traveling with children or traveling alone, this is one of the best hotels in Leavenworth.

I would give this hotel more stars, but the housekeeping service was almost nonexistent. We stayed 6 nights total, 4 nights in The Hutte, and 2 nights in a Vista View suite. We asked for housekeeping service each morning, but we got housekeeping service only once. That service happened only after we called back twice to make sure they were coming. We also needed a maintenance person while we were in the Vista View suite, because our blinds were broken and wouldn’t open, so we couldn’t enjoy our Vista View from indoors. A maintenance person came almost immediately after we called, but was unable to fix the blinds, and told us he would be back first thing the next morning to get them fixed, but he never showed up. It was still pretty cold to go sit on the patio. The service all around was pretty disappointing. The Hutte is a 2 story “house” across the street from the main hotel. It was nice to be on our own. It was very quiet, and had a nice view. The only downfall is that there is only one bathroom, and it’s downstairs. It’s great for nighttime when you’re in bed, but when you’re hanging out in the living area, it’s kind of a pain to go up and down stairs just to go to the bathroom. I would say though because of the bathroom situation, I would suggest that only two people stay there. It’s definitely large enough for 4 people, but the person who sleeps upstairs on the pullout sofa would have to walk in the downstairs bedroom to go to the bathroom since it’s only one room. There is only a pedestal sink in the bathroom, but there is a shelf behind it where you can place hairdryer, curling iron, makeup, etc., if you need that kind of countertop space like me. The last 2 nights we stayed in one of the Vista View Suites. They are nice, they have a larger countertop area in the bathroom, and a balcony to enjoy a beautiful view. They have a separate living area, and a 4 poster King bed. It’s definitely noisier than The Hutte since you can hear people in the restaurant area which is above the room, but it was always quiet after 9 pm. Again, it would have been nice to have blinds that would open so we could see the lovely view from inside our room since it was still pretty cold outside. The all you can eat breakfast was very good, and the employees in the restaurant, including the alpenhorn players, were very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable of the area. They went out of their way to visit our table just to chat. That part of The Enzian I would give 5 stars. Our first night there, we loved it so much, that we booked our entire family to come back in May, 2023, but now I’m not so sure if we’re still going to stay there after the experience of our following days. When we checked out, I explained what happened, and the girl at the front desk said someone would reach out to us, but we’ve heard nothing, and we’ve been back home for 3 weeks.

I arrived hours before check-in. My room wasn't ready, but again, I was there very early. The nice thing was I got the best parking spot in the lot.
In the past I think they had free Seattle Times to take. I think they are just now putting a copy to share in the lobby, but I didn't clarify with them.
The hotel is clear.
I like the bathroom with good lighting and fancy shower. The shower head could provide a little better water pressure/flow. The bathroom had two sinks, shower and separate bath tub. I didn't use the bath tub, but it looked nice.
The room could have had better lighting and better plug ins. The bed was comfortable. There were two nice bath robes provided. The towels and ammenities in the bathroom were nice.
They have an indoor pool and workout room in the basement. There is an adults only pool outside and another outdoor pool and hot tub.
Breakfast is on the 4th floor in a room with great views. They have horn playing a couple times during breakfast. The food is very good. While I didn't partake of it, you can get omelets made to order. The watermelon was good, along with waffles, compote, cream and everything I ate.
In the evening they have a pianist in the lobby.
There is free mini-golf across the street on a grass course.
Staff have what I assume are traditional Bavarian clothing. I thought it really was a nice touch.
This is a great place to stay and I hope to return.

We visited over the holidays, so it was obviously a very busy Inn. Lots of character with German decor, great Christmas decorations, a beautiful wood fireplace, and a very comfortable and clean room. This Inn has the best breakfast buffet we have ever experienced in our years of travel, and the musician who played the traditional Swiss mountain horn at the breakfast hour was wonderful.

I was immediately impressed with the lobby and the beau Christmas decor! We checked in quickly and found our standard queen room on the west side of the hotel. We were able to park near an entry door and were happy that our room was near the large hotel pool area. The room is large enough and like I said, we had a standard room with 2 queen beds. They do not offer 1 bedroom suits and that would have been our preference. We quickly changed and went for a swim in the pool! We ordered pizza delivery from across the street. Our table only had 2 chairs so we requested 2 more along with more hangers. The clothing storage is very limited especially for 4 people. We ended up leaving 2 suitcases packed which became a huge mess by day 2. There are only 3 tiny dresser drawers and a small armoire for hanging. My favorite had to be the beautiful remodeled bathroom. The deep soaking tub and open shower are fantastic! The room was a bit old fashioned and extremely dark! There are no over head lights and the lamps do little to help. Day 2 we woke up and piled all our dinner boxes and glass wear etc onto the table and picked up all our personal items in preparation for housekeeping. We enjoyed an amazing complimentary breakfast and left for the day to find snow! After a day of play we came back to our room to shower and order dinner in. To our surprise we came back to find our room in the exact condition it was when we left that morning. All the nasty food and boxes and garbage overflowing. No clean glasses or ice bucket. No coffee or clean towels. Since we wanted to shower and order dinner I called the front desk to find out if our room had been missed. This is where I had my negative experience....I was told there would be no housekeeping due to Covid. Ok. Um. Well. I wish someone had let me know so I had the appropriate expectations. Unfortunately the front desk employee was not friendly with her explanation and she basically told me I should have seen this info on the website. (I hadn't been to the website) I was told to take all of the items that needed to be removed and place them in the hallway! If this had been a tray or 2 then that would be fine but this legit looked like a bomb went off in the hallway! 4 peoples dinner debris, glasses, coffees, silverware, 2 garbage cans, countless towels, 3 pizza boxes! It was pretty embarrassing to place this all in the hallway as other guests were waking by. I understand we are in different times and we are all trying our best. I don't "need" housekeeping to clean my room but I didn't have a way to wipe down counters or even wipe off the table we had eaten at the night before. It just all felt gross and dirty to me after day 1 so I ended up not relaxing the way I had hoped. If I were to go back this season I would ask for housekeeping to drop off the items we would need to take care of ourselves the night before. I would also ask for a large empty trash bag, some sort of wipes or cleaning product and a tray for dirty dishes at check in.

Very disappointed with this stay. We paid $535 per night for 4 nights and we're put into the Hutte. It is it's own building across the street. The room is nice but you are left to fend for yourself. We put out our service needed sign each day but nobody came at all. No clean towels, coffee, soaps, etc. On the third night we finally got a phone call asking if we needed any clean towels or anything. We declined because we were leaving soon and already went to Safeway to buy our own coffee and amenities. I told the gal on the phone how I was disappointed and had requested services the days prior and she said sorry. You are completely cut off from the hotel. No snow was plowed on the Hutte side but it was at the hotel. We had to create our own way to cross the lot and then the street if we needed anything from the hotel. I was shocked to see that they didnt come try to clear any of the snow while we were there. Instead, the same little bobcat that cleared the hotel side, plowed by the street and blocked us in even more. This makes it completely difficult to enjoy the pool or even breakfast. Staff was friendly when we checked in but obviously we weren't important and left on our own island. This was the most expensive hotel we have ever stayed at and expected the level of service to match but it did not. A total let down. We will not stay again. We get better service and amenities at an Airb&b..... in the woods.....alone. I can't even describe how bummed out I am.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Enzian. It's a bit older, but it has a very sweet Bavarian charm that we really enjoyed Even the staff dress to fit the theme. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and we had everything that we needed. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Lots of little extras too, like ping pong, pools, and a free put put golf course. It's also close to town and easy to walk to everything from the Inn. Breakfast is included and it is very good. They have omelettes made to order, along with a special that changes daily, fruit and yogurt bar, and yummy European style pastries. The tables were spread far apart for covid and we felt very comfortable eating there. Plus the view of the surrounding mountains from that room is amazing. They have a piano concert every night, and a short alphorn concert at breakfast that definitely adds to the Bavarian feel! Overall it is a unique and fun place to stay. We will likely come back and highly recommend it!

Absolutely! November 30th is the kickoff to their famous Christmas Lighting Festival. You may want to check out their event calendar so you can see all that will be going on that day. You can find it on the City of Leavenworth's website under "Things to Do" and "Event Calendar." Have fun!

Coffee and tea is always available in the lobby. The suites have coffee machines I believe. (Haven't stayed in a suite in a few years).... Breakfast on the Fourth Floor is amazing. Fresh cooked Omelettes; German pastries/bread.....fruit; COFFEE/tea and at 0830 and 0930 the owner plays an Alp horn for everyones enjoyment.
