I wish I had one bad thing to say, because then I might not want to return again so soon.

Sure, it’s expensive, but so is going to a true spa. You would spend about $100/pp for spa admission, about $150 on food, then the room. Just view this as an all inclusive wellness retreat, and you’ll have the right mindset. Last I checked Miraval is double the price of the PostHotel

The rooms are impeccable. The food is extremely fresh-my husband and I both admired the freshness of the blueberries. Breakfast and lunch is included. You can use the facilities until 2pm on the day of checkout, so we went to the spa, went to lunch, then checked out.

I posted photos separately. Excite my capitalization as i am transferring my bullet point notes to this review on a phone keyboard.

This is an adult only hotel focused on tranquility and health Guests walk around in robes and it feels spa-like. Breakfast and lunch are included. This is off of a menu and the options are impressive. Gourmet and can order anything and everything.

The Location has mountain top with snow and River views with access to easy walkable and bike able trails. Right in Downtown Leavenworth. Parking is indoor, secure and included and we didn’t feel the need to drive anywhere once we unloaded for the long weekend.

The bed was firm, there is a safe and shallow mini fridge. Ice in the cabinet by the elevator. There is a rain shower and plunge tub and they provide body scrub as part of the toiletries. There is a TV in the mirror though we didn’t watch much. They provide refillable water bottles and slippers to keep and a robe to use on site. The balcony is nice but choose a ground floor and you can walk right out to participate in morning yoga (included) and/or walk to the pool.

Swim pool temp was perfect. It is a swim in and out from the inside pool, quiet and peaceful with sauna therapy rooms. They provide Sunscreen and after sun cream. There are plenty of Lounge chairs and towels and the staff cleans up those who have left regularly.

The room is not blackout. There was day light shining through the curtains so bring masks.

Our only complaint was that early in the morning we were awakened by the noise from the upstairs neighbor. The noise from the floor creaks was really bad.

It’s as advertised with unique decor and in-room functionality. Beautiful property and the service was amazing. Covid mask rules inside were followed and hand sanitizer provided. A wonderful memory for our 15th anniversary!

What a beautiful property and location. It was lovely to enjoy the mountain views and fall colors on some of the last sunny days of the year. This was our second stay. The rooms are luxurious and well maintained. It seemed like there were luggage carts the first stay but no worry. Someone immediately came down to the garage and helped carry our luggage up. The front desk was responsive to every request from picking up dishes or bringing fresh bathrobes. The staff in the dining room, spa, and housekeeping were equally kind and responsive. The real treat is the spa.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at the Post Hotel
I am thoroughly disheartened by my recent experience at the Post Hotel. Despite its reputation for luxury, my stay revealed a series of issues that reflect poor management, substandard facilities, and a lack of respect for guests.
During our first stay in the summer, we encountered several issues that seemed inconsistent with the hotel's high-end image. The lack of insulation in the walls allowed us to hear conversations from neighboring rooms, and the air conditioning was ineffective, leaving the rooms unbearably hot. When we raised this concern with the front desk, we were advised to sleep with the balcony doors open—an option that risked letting in pests. Additionally, a bright blue tarp covered a visibly broken skylight, and the outdoor dining area was plagued with wasps, forcing us inside to a dining room with stained and unclean booth cushions.
Our most recent visit in January was equally disappointing. The lobby ceiling leaked persistently, with white gallon buckets placed to catch the water—a makeshift and unprofessional solution. The dining area was similarly littered with buckets to manage leaks. Upon returning from an outing, we were informed by a maintenance worker that we could not access our floor due to an electrical box filled with two inches of water, posing a safety hazard. Despite the clear inconvenience, management offered no compensation or acknowledgment of the disruption.
The lack of attentiveness and respect we experienced seemed to stem from racial discrimination, as the staff and management dismissed our concerns and treated us with condescension. For a hotel charging nearly $1,000 per night, the conditions were unacceptable. The pool and sauna areas were plagued with black mold, and the hallway carpets were visibly stained and dirty.
Furthermore, the hotel recently altered its cancellation policy without proper communication. We had planned to celebrate our anniversary in May but chose to cancel due to our poor experience. However, the hotel attempted to charge us a percentage of the stay, despite not informing us of the policy change via email or other communication.
Given this experience, I will not be returning and strongly advise other travelers, especially people of color, to seek accommodations elsewhere. The Post Hotel’s lack of professionalism, poor maintenance, and discriminatory behavior are entirely unacceptable.

After check-in I noticed our toilet was constantly running, which reverberated throughout the room nonstop. I immediately called reception and let them know. We waited for about an hour for maintenance to arrive, then had to get ready to leave for dinner. I stopped by the front desk and showed them a video I took of it, so they could hear how loud is was in the room, and let them know maintenance can access the room when we are gone, not a problem. After dinner we got back to the room and it still wasn't fixed. I called the front desk and asked if maintenance was coming and they said no he was gone for the day. I let them know it would be challenging to sleep with the toilet constantly running as you can still hear it when all the doors are closed. The guy at the front desk said I should just use ear plugs, which I am unable to for various reasons. When you're paying 800 a night at a wellness resort, wearing ear plugs just so you can sleep shouldn't even be a suggestion. Needless to say, I didn't get any sleep, nor did maintenance come by in the morning. Not like it matters now as we only booked one night. Definitely not an experience worth the price if you can't get restful sleep at the end of the day. What a let down.

when i say i went to war to get a reservation during christmas time, i mean checking the website everyday, multiple times a day and feeling so so happy when i finally got the dates for my sister and i only one month in advance. to say i was excited is an understatement, but unfortunately that excitement was shut down quickly. we tried to check in early yesterday but the room wasnt ready, which was fine. we went to their dining room to wait it out, placed our lunch order with the server, only to be kicked out when we said we werent assigned a room number yet. not only was it embarrassing, but the fact that were paying $900/night for this kind of mistreatment is baffling. i also didnt hear the servers ask any other tables for their room number during the duration of our stay, so it made it feel like they were profiling us. that was our first impression of the place and it just left a sour taste in my mouth. then this morning, we were taking photos at the pool, only to be told pool photos are not allowed after 9 am? there are no signs that we saw stating this nor was it communicated to us during check in when they went over all the other rules. this is actually wild considering the only reason people know about your hotel is from social media photos. staff was not friendly at all, didnt explain any of the amenities that we were left to figure out on our own. when we checked out, we didnt get a bye or thanks for staying, just awkward eye contact. you would think for being the best hotel in leavenworth, there would be better customer service. again, $900/night and yet theres no valet, no bell hop or room service?? how can you even consider yourselves a luxury hotel. yes the place is beautiful and amenities are great, but i would never stay here again.

It was very difficult to book a room on their website. It was even more difficult to change the day of the reservation. Personnel at the hotel had to assist me with making this change of date that could only be done on line. The old reservation was canceled. However, a duplicate reservation was made for the desired new date of our hotel stay. When we arrived and discovered the duplicate reservation, the managing owners would not refund the duplicate stay deposit. Our midweek, 2 night, hotel stay with spa services cost $2,500. I would not have even minded paying the additional $375 penalty for the extra reservation if the manager owners would have helped me through the issues and, perhaps, address the issue with any concern so this wouldn't happen in the future to us or to others. Instead, they said that they cannot afford to take losses for mistakes that are not their fault and walked away.

Otherwise, this was a wonderful resort that I would be happy to pay the slightly overpriced cost again and again and give it a five-star review. The working staff was wonderful. The atmosphere is incredible. The location is perfect.

In the future, we will drive slightly further to go elsewhere for similar and better priced services.

Beautiful resort, love the spa even though it is getting to feel a bit crowded.
I was honestly very surprised at the customer service when calling to receive help. The last time I called for help, I found it to be slightly rude and unhelpful, even though I was trying to correct a mistake on their part. they had put charges on my room bill, even though I had paid with a credit card. No one even called to let me know it had been resolved I had to follow up twice that was after the making me feel like they weren’t sure if they were gonna be able to fix the double charge. I thought perhaps it was just a one off, but I’ve ran into the same attitude again. This isn’t what I expected with such a high class resort. I was surprised that they weren’t willing to forgo the cancellation fee or at best split it with me when all I needed to do was change the date of my reservation. I was calling with over a month notice of needing to change the date. I agree with the other comments when they say management is inflexible and not willing to go the extra mile or even apologize for not being able to help. Still, a nice relaxing place with beautiful architecture.

I had a solo getaway midweek to the PostHotel. It’s amazingly beautiful. I had a juliette balcony which is perfect to open your French doors and let the fresh mountain air in.
My room consisted of a king bed - very comfortable. A clock including USB ports a very relaxing sitting room with a fireplace. Plush cozy robe with slippers that come in plastic wrap for sanitary purposes. The bathroom consisted of a separate toilet room, a beautiful shower with a rain shower head and also a handheld shower head. The focal point of course was the gorgeous hand carved marble tub and the tv screen within the bathroom mirror. I will admit it took me a minute to figure out how to plug the tub. I even had to call the front desk lol. Missing from the bathroom was a towel warmer and heated floors.
The pool and wellness area are amazing!! Included in your hotel amenities were a swim out pool, a hot tub indoor and outdoor, two plunge pools, three saunas with varying degrees of dry heat. Steam rooms including a eucalyptus room while you lay on marble lounges. A cool mint room and a nap room. Pure decadence. They had four reflexology stepping pools and inviting lounges to relax in.
Breakfast is included and everyone shows up in robes and slippers. The service was a bit slow but completely understandable with Covid protocols. All waiters were in masks. Lunch is also included however I didn’t partake.
I would absolutely stay here again. Felt luxiourous. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

Things of note. I had a wonderful fire and ice facial st the relaxing spa (extra charge.). The spa had a fantastic relaxation room with lounges overlooking the mountain. I noticed another sauna in the ladies restroom just outside the spa.
Bath amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body scrub, lotion, a bar soap with oatmeal in it that was lovely, cotton pads and q-tips.
I very much missed coffee in my room. There wasn’t any coffee or tea to speak of in the room which was disappointing.

We have been to Posthotel multiple times and will be returning again. It’s a relaxing resort, with a great location and friendly staff. That being said, we feel like it’s degraded in a few spots, which is why giving it 4*.

1) The pool area is feeling overcrowded. Multiple times, we went during the day to relax in the sun and all the outdoor chairs were taken. Because of this, people would reserve chairs in the morning and leave stuff on them during the day, making the issue worse. The hotel is also selling day passes for non guests, which also makes the problem worse (please don’t do that when the hotel is full!). When the point of the hotel is to relax, having anxiety to even find a spot defeats the purpose.
2) The hotel is starting to feel dated. Some areas need better upkeep, like the pool handrails showing signs of heavy rust.
3) Service felt like it had less attention to detail. When we returned in the evening, the reception hot water was empty (so couldn’t have evening tea), at times the spa bathrooms were out of hand towels, and the pool was dirty with lots of little debris (and not cleaned).

None of the above were deal breakers but hope they get worked on for next time!

We paid a little over $400 a night...but, that includes a generous breakfast, lunch, an 8:00 dessert buffet, hot drinks and snacks during the day, and lots of spa-type amenities. We actually did not eat dinner either night we stayed there. We had a late breakfast and late lunch and we're not hungry for dinner.
