We LOVE the Bavarian Lodge for many reasons! The close proximity to town and free parking is always a huge perk. We love being able to walk right across the street into town and can take the short walk as often as we like. The Bavarian is also always very beautifully decorated and we LOVE the esthetic! Housekeeping is always great and the rooms are always very clean and usually available to check in early as well. The Woodsman Pub is also a great feature to the property! They have great appetizer-like snacks and a great selection of local beverages. I would say that on top of the great amenities, the staff is always absolutely amazing! We stay at the Bavarian multiple times a year, even though we have moved out of state and it is the only place we will book reservations at in town. I don't know how, but there is one gentleman at the front desk, Steve, who is FANTASTIC and remembers us every time we are in! He has gone above and beyond to help get us last minute reservations, helped extend our stay when we weren't ready to go home, and has even helped us upgrade our rooms. He has always been the most helpful and gives great recommendations for food or things to do in Leavenworth. There is a reason we come back and so often!

WOW! A+. I am amazed at how spotless clean this hotel is, what a pleasure. A nice view from our room overlooking the centre of town. Love the atmosphere in this hotel, definitely has that Bavarian feel. Check in was easy and friendly. All staff that we encountered were attentive and friendly, from the ladies who serviced the breakfast room to the people who cleaned the rooms. Beds were comfy and love the smell and quality of the shampoo, conditioner and soap. Highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

In an unusual twist there was a DVD player in the room and a rack of DVDs in the lobby for use. The bar only serves beer & wine, along with a small menu of food. My family and I have stayed at this location several times over the years. We won't stay anywhere else. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, well maintained, and nicely decorated. We like the fact that there was a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room, and the hotel provides Starbucks Caffe Verona coffee. The staff was always pleasant, and the free breakfast was a great convenience. The fireplace in our room would be a plus during the Fall and Winter. Our room had an air conditioner.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights the last weekend of August to hike the local famous long-distance hiking trail, "The Enchantments". The hotel was extremely conveniently located to downtown Leavenworth, which was great for our tired legs after the long hike. We had easy across the street access to all of the main restaurants and shops. Every part of the Bavarian Lodge was cozy and clean. Each staff member greeted us kindly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We told them we'd be leaving at 3am for the hike and they packed up the breakfast we'd be missing that morning. The king room was spacious, and we had a balcony that faced out onto the street with beautiful live flowers growing outside. Every detail was covered at this hotel. The bed was huge and comfortable, with a big heavy comforter and the air conditioning going, it was heaven. The bathroom contained a gorgeous high-quality tiled Italian Shower with really good smelling shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. For the breakfast we did get to attend, it was a step above your typical included hotel Continental breakfast. Hot potatoes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, and meat were all available and were well seasoned. Not bland like what's usually at a chain hotel. On the last morning we enjoyed the hot tub and soaked our tired muscles with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. This stay was literally perfect from beginning to end. I would LOVE to return especially in the winter, and enjoy the fireplace and other winter touches around the hotel. Thank you to all who helped us during our stay!!!

Pilloŵs are soft, food was fantastic and the heated pool and christmas lights were magical. Kelly was great and helpful. They have an adult only hot tub and continental breakfast. Very close to the village and skihill. You can take food and beer to your room and accomadations were great

My sister and I took our German born 97 yr old father to Leavenworth for a father-daughter weekend recently. We stayed at the Bavarian Lodge— what an utterly charming property. It is obvious from the moment you turn into the parking lot that the family that owns and runs this hotel has paid attention to detail. Guests are greeted by a bounty of flowers spilling from balconies and planters. The decor of the hotel, from the painted scenes on the elevator doors and hallway walls to the handmade room number signs adds warmth and an authentic Bavarian feeling to the interior. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully/generously appointed. The staff is kind, super helpful and seem genuinely happy to be there. We enjoyed the coffee and fruit-infused water that was always available in the lobby. They rescued us by providing loaner cell phone charger cables/plugs when we realized we had forgotten ours. The breakfast includes tasty cooked items that we haven’t found in other American hotels. The Bavarian Lodge is ideally located directly across the street from the focal point of Leavenworth.
We were totally impressed and spoiled by the property and staff at the Bavarian Lodge!
If you go during summer months, be sure to take in a performance by the Leavenworth Summer Theater—high quality community theater in a remarkable mountain setting:)

The staff is wonderful, the room was very clean and well appointed, the pool was especially nice in the evening, and free parking came with the room. The hotel location is perfect to access all the shopping and restaurants in Leavenworth.. We were early for check in but were able to park the car and walk around town, then come back later to check in. The breaakfast in the morning was buffet style and freshly cooked, not nuked out of a plastic package.

Jordyn was very helpful, recommending the Village View room over the Mountain View room, and it was completely worth it! The views were gorgeous from the private balcony and the room is very comfortable. Breakfast was good, but I thought there would be more options and something a little more “German” about it with a better assortment of baked breads, cheese, and charcuterie, which is standard at hotels in Germany. Access to the village square is pretty convenient. Would definitely stay again.

The lodge was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. We had an excellent view of the village Christmas lights from our room. The lodge is located right in the center of town, we could walk to most everything we needed. The staff are so friendly, helpful and professional with excellent customer service!! The rooms are clean, spacious and decorated in lodge style. The full breakfast buffet is included in your stay and was well staffed with cheerful and helpful hosts. Also, in the festively decorated lobby there is a beautiful sideboard with complimentary hot cider and hot chocolate. This was our first stay in Leavenworth, and it did NOT disappoint. I loved it so much that I have booked us again for next year. I just phoned the Bavarian Lodge to confirm my 2023 reservation and Kelly helped me to make sure that I will have the same room for my next visit. I am so thrilled! Now that is service!!!! I were there last month , what a cozy fun place to stay , no they do not have any onsite laundry facilities , but there is a hotel down the block whom let non guest to use their laundry facilities , do not forget use the outdoor tub ! happy new year

Unfortunately we are a pet free facility. Our desk does have a list of local properties that accept dogs. There is also the Leavenworth Pet Lodge, which is a great option to house your pets while you stay.

Yes the Woodsman Pub was open. Breakfast was in a bag but with lot's of choices and very good. Many places were open but withMasks and social distancing. I love it there and will continue to go back many times. Everything in the Hotel was spotless and fun. You make your own good times and there is plenty to do. Leenkat
