This place has a great, casual Pacific Northwest beach vibe. It is family and pet friendly, so expect some noise. The food at Pickled Fish is wonderful. It is also eco- and local source friendly. The minimal repurposed decor is funky and fun. If you are not into high-end luxury, but enjoy things functional and eco-responsible, this place is for... More

Want an amazing place to visit with an even more amazing stay? Well, the Adrift is my favorite place for a number of reasons. First, their decor is beachy and shabby chic! They used reclaimed wood and pipe hardware to decorate the rooms, which is pretty cool. Another reason is the nightly live music from local musicians in the restaurant... More

Spartan rooms in need of an update. No coffee maker in room. No complimentary breakfast which is unusual for this price range ($120 for single queen room). Convenient on site restaurant. The Location is the best part of the hotel. It is adjacent to a ocean front boardwalk and bike trails.

My family and I spent thanksgiving at Adrift and paid quite a bit of money for the prix fix thanksgiving dinner. Unfortunately the service was extremely poor and the entree served to vegetarians unforgivably inedible. So sad, as this restaurant always had greet service and nice vegetarian/vegan options.

Regardless of some constructive feedback below, we will definitely return and have recommended Adrift to friends. This is a super cool hotel that manages to maintain a beachy feel over and above the hipster vibe. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of fun board games in the lobby and we were happy to take advantage of the... More

Wonderful, friendly atmoshpere in a clean and relaxing setting. We had a great time with our pet and other guests at the facility in spite of the rough weather. The rooms meet all needs without the "fussiness" found in most hotels. The location can't be beat. The rooms are perfect for the beach (no worry about sand and water on... More

The walls and floors are so thin you could hear people walking above you, down the halls and dogs barking for hours. A truck pulled up outside my window at 6am waking my family up. The bed was itchy and extremely uncomfortable. My son woke up with bug bites on him. A family member got locked in the bathroom because... More

Pluses: Beautiful setting. Good food and music. Comfy beds. Minuses: Service in hotel and restaurant isn't very warm or helpful. They aren't rude but aren't exceptionally nice nor apologetic when frequent booking and billing errors occur. Be ready to self advocate for better service and error free billing. A kid and dog friendly hotel. Dogs left in rooms bark for... More

Look elsewhere if you want a typical beach hotel with seagull watercolors and anchor motifs. The feel here is minimalist and a bit industrial, yet it still manages to be inviting. Friendly staff, free use of beach bikes, and good live music in the top floor restaurant (no cover), all steps from the beach and a short walk to town.... More

The rooms could be little more friendly. Desk had not light or plug in. Bed was to hard for a good nights sleep. The view of the waves was excellent. The location of the hotel is perfect for a short visit to Long Beach.
