A nice place to stay. They welcome families and dogs. They have a big indoor pool, hot tub, ping pong, fooze ball, exercise room, tennis and pickle ball for a fee, coffee for a fee. They give a blanket for use there, treat, and tennis ball to your dog. Clean rooms, kitchens, paths to the beach or a short drive close by. The people upstairs woke us up being very loud. The pillows were foam and stiff. Since it was cold and there was snow, the resort gave us lots to do there. Friendly and helpful staff.

This has been our home away from home for 18 years and we love it! Problem is the prices keep going up but nothing is being updated in the room (604). Same old furniture - getting out of that sofa is like a bad episode of Minute to Win It! None of the settings to the oven or cooktop are legible so temperature settings are all guess work! No telephones anymore - supposed to use your cell - we don't own a cell and expect a room to have a phone it it when we rent it. Power went out for long enough to trip the hot water tank breaker (if only I had thought to check that!) so next morning , my birthday, I got an ice cold shower! haha The swimming pool is just too darn cold! The location saves the day of course but I am getting the feeling I am being taken advantage of overall so I hope the upgrades come soon.

Overall pleasant experience. Our dogs were very well behaved and enjoyed the stay also. Why do you have a minimum of 200 characters? This seems like a very odd requirement. A person can sum it up in less than 200.

I had not visited Long Beach in quite some time and wanted to come and check it out because I am spending Thanksgiving week there. I booked a room at the Lighthouse. I was pleasantly surprised to find a great little cabin style room complete with a fireplace, full kitchen, and a little covered deck so that I could walk straight out with my dog. It worked very well. But, it's really the staff who make this resort. I called the desk the first night I was there because there were no instructions on how to operate the TV. Kevin at the desk walked me through it and I had no problems sorting it out. I was surprised when a few minutes later Kevin called to see I had managed to get it working and to make sure everything was alright. What a nice thing! Great place and I will definitely be back.

What a nice resort. From the reception at the front desk to our departure it was a class act. Our three bedroom unit was well appointed. The beds were comfy and the unit has a nice design. Unfortunately we did have two folks who had some mobility issues so the stairs were a challenge but we knew that coming into the arrangements. They did just fine. The view from the deck was great and it is just a short walk to the beach. We were lucky as the weather was supposed to be rain but we had a warm and sunny afternoon for enjoying the deck and the beach.
