We stayed at the VERY quaint hotel for two nights surrounding our siblings' wedding. Very accommodating to the needs of the family; the owners\ proprietors are great people doing it the right way, that is if you enjoy a casual yet personal experience in your weekend getaway. Shared bath and toilet facilities upstairs, but clean and well stocked. The food...

Comfortable room at good price. Shared bathrooms but no problem. Hints restaurant only open late in week, wear the ear plugs to block out train noise (we didn't see them till morning/too late). Grill and bar on Main Street good for dinner. Very quiet country town.

The restaurant and bar are pretty decent and they bring in some live music acts on the weekend that are absolutely worth checking out. However, we did not have a good experience at the hotel at all. We got a room here for a spontaneous weekend trip because most spots in Hood River were booked up. The hotel is right...

What a wonderful surprise in the Gorge! This reopened hotel is definitely a place we will return to, and soon. The dinner was among the best my wife and I have ever enjoyed together. Now we are looking for excuses to go back. If trains in the evening bother you, I suggest using the ear plugs offered.

We stayed at the Lyle Hotel this past weekend when visiting family in the area. We fully enjoyed our stay at the hotel, from the hospitality, to the good conversation with Richard and Trece. The accommodations were comfortable in a convenient central location. The live music in the bar was a fun bonus after wine tasting around the corner at...

We enjoyed our two-day trip through the wine country of the Columbia Gorge, but the best part was staying at the Lyle Hotel. The owners made every effort to see that we were comfortable and happy -- and we certainly were! The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view down the gorge. The food was wonderful! The entire...

What a great gem. Quaint and clean. While you do share bathrooms, and yes the train tracks are near the ambiance, hosts and amazing food make this a wonderful get away. There is much to do in the area. Highly recommend the hotel and be sure to stay in for an extremely flavorful, romantic dinner.

We came for the Syncline wine dinner that was held at the hotel and then we spent two nights at The Lyle hotel. The dinner, prepared by Richard the owner, was superb. We also savored the fine wines that accompanied each course. If you wish to unwind and have a slow paced, comfortable, and relaxing time, The Lyle Hotel will...

We love hotels like this. The room was clean and ready for us when we got there. We liked the authentic feel and the modern upgrades. The owner was very nice and polite and helped answer all of our questions. The shared restrooms were clean and well stocked. The shower was a little small for me, but if that is...
