This is our third time since the new ownership at Freestone. To date we have experienced a wonderful happy hour out on the gorgeous patio, taking in the view of the lake while sipping great micro brews, wines and happy hour fare. Breakfast a few months later after a ski even surpassed that experience. All we can say was wow....so...

Thanks for the review! I totally agree with you about the Mac and Cheese, don't worry, it isn't going anywhere! We are going to be doing some great concerts by the lake this year, so sign up for our newsletter and keep on eye on our website for more details.

We ate hear in late March. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner, the selection was good and the service was outstanding. This is a fine dining experience as far as food and service with a relaxed atmosphere. The chef had several interesting specials.

Our family stays here frequently, usually renting one of the cabins which are amazing with stone fireplaces and a/c in the summer. Fabulous outdoor pool and Jacks hut has food and everything you need to rent!

Keep reading. This is a great review. 2014 Christmas at the Freestone cabins was only marginally good and that mostly because of the perfect location on the methow valley ski trail system and the fact that dogs are allowed. Beyond that the basic necessities of everyday living were sadly lacking. However, because of the location, etc, we reserved a cabin...

We stayed at the Freestone Inn in their cabins this past week for the second time. The cabins are self catering/self care which suited us and our grandchildren's family with a dog. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable--we had meals for 6 a couple of times. Nice gas fireplace. The kitchen has the basic cooking and eating gear but nothing...

Thank you for your review. Although we do provide basic amenities, it is a good idea to bring any special cooking needs if you are planning something specific. Although we do not provide blenders, mixers, dutch ovens or those types of things, I think that your suggestion of roasting pans is a great idea, and we will look into supplying...

Under new management, the Freestone Inn is a wonderful place to visit! The guest service team that runs this place is fantastic and incredibly accommodating. The food was spectacular and beyond our wildest hopes. Loved the snow and Jack's hut to warm up after snow shoeing. We look forward to our next visit.

Stayed for 3 nights the first week of February. It was like being part of a private club...very exclusive, fantastic service, beautiful property. Loved it. Our room was large and comfortable, gas fireplace. Mid-week dining menus was limited but excellent, and the full dining menu beginning Thursday evening was very, very nice. Staff all exceptional.

This was our first time to the Methow Valley and we were persuaded by your recent snowfall and groomed cross-country ski trails. We found the Freestone Inn to be the perfect place --- for skiing, eating, and relaxing. We chose a second floor room in the lodge with a private balcony (and a spectacular view). We enjoyed the fireplace, large...

We stayed over Christmas in a studio cabin with fireplace. Brought along a tiny fake tree, and put up a few strings of lights. So lovely. The skiing was great, snow was plentiful and well-groomed, and the staff is fantastic. Dinner on Christmas Eve was outstanding, and you can feel the vibe of the new managers as you first drive...

It was a cold and dark night...but warm and comfy at the Freestone Inn. Our deluxe king room had a beautiful view of the frozen pond and mountains beyond. The gas fireplace helped make the rustic, but elegant decor, more inviting. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have had at an Inn and the bathroom was completely...
