Even though it was a rainy weekend, this was a wonderfully quaint getaway for our family. We had 7 people, and they had a kitchenette room for rent. It was perfect! We went for a walk on the island and had a great time in the woods. Any extra items we asked for, from extra towels to a cot, we... More

Our family stayed in one of the RV spots right on the lake. The lake was gorgeous and there was a lot to do here. My family fished and kayaked most of the time, but there is also a dance every Saturday night, lodgings of various type, swimming, boat rentals, and a small waterfall nearby at the end of the... We had our annual family reunion here on the recommendation of a friend. What I loved about the resort is it had a variety of different accommodations for our family, including lodge rooms and RV sites with full hookups. I didn't eat at the restaurant, so I cannot comment on that. However there was a small store that had lots... More

Our room was ok, no shampoo or conditioner or normal essentials you get in a hotel type room. We were in one of the kitchenette rooms. We had two towels and no room service over our weekend. The sink and toilet water was a gross color of brown. Dont expect much when you stay. The restaurant was horrible. The staff... More

We are a family who paid for three nights 6 months ahead of time. We brought our 20 yr old, 15 yr old, 10 yr old and her 11 yr old friend. We were told at 10:12pm on Friday night we had to turn our music OFF, not down but off. Saturday, our music is on and the manager comes... More

On the whole, I would rate the facilities better than average; however, we reserved (and PAID FOR) the pavilion and then were told we could not use it (the owner forgot what time she told us we could have it and then said they had Karoake at 6:30 so we couldn't be there). We were told to use a smaller... More

Thank You for a wonderful day on the Lake! All our staff were amazed at how beautiful this location is and all you had to offer! We had 20 people with kids and everyone had a great time. We also were treated like royalty for dinner at The Lake House Restaurant. We hope to make this an annual event!

Pro's- The rooms were spacious (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/dining, living room). Living room contained 2nd queen-sized bed and hide-a-bed couch (we didn't use them for sleeping). It was clean, well kept, new looking. Seemed quiet. Check the website for what's available (on the lake). Con's- Small TV/DVD (who cares), poor cell phone & wireless internet (come on, you are vacationing, take... More

We discovered this place several years ago, when we were forced to move our annual family campout due to a campground closure. Mayfield is quite central to most of the folks who attend the annual campout and a very easy drive from the Seattle area. We have been coming back every summer for 4 years now and are headed back... We had the pleasure of chatting with the owners who said "we wanted to run a place where families could make great memories together..." Done. And Well Done. Thank you! Don't miss the restaurant which is staffed by the most delightful crew. Decent food, family-friendly menu and priced right. Good beer and wine, as well. The rooms are big and... More

“There are two 2 story hotel spots on the property, one is closer to the lake, other has an expansive view of the lake up the hill.”

“Tell them how many people you have. With so many different size rooms, they have a room to accommodate! Pets are very welcome too!”

“Both lodges are above ground level. Aspen ground level can be accessed by driving up to a small (3 cars can park) area and unloading. Then you must move your car to a lover area and climb steps or walk up the driveway. Johnson Lodge has no less than 20 stairs to the first floor with no way to get there other than to climb the stairs. Not handicap accessible in any way.”

“Don't rent the Itty Bitty Cabin unless there are only two people who only want a room to sleep in. It is extremely small. All other rooms in the lodges were very nice.”
