My husband and I rented a room for three days in Sept of 2014. The last day, we were horrified to find that my 72 year old diabetic husband`s prescription medications were missing from our room while we were sight seeing.Along with all his meds for heart, high blood pressure and diabetes, the thief also took two bags of 20...

The staff were fine but this really was a half nice half cheap hotel. The room decor was very nice. That was the plus. No elevator, no food on the continental breakfast at 9am when it was supposed to run to 11, the water pipes were unbelievably loud in the room from other rooms! A man was complaining about having...

We didn't expect to get the honeymoon suite for $99 when we stopped at this motel about a week ago--spacious, comfortable, clean. The general manager himself, Gary Wang, checked us in. Nice fellow, and obviously proud and protective what he is managing. The two-room suite was quiet (away from the highway), had two LCD TVs (we watched our vacation pics...

From the street, this property seems a little sketchy. It has an older feel about it, but the rooms are actually pretty nice. Ours was large with a nice television, a great bathroom, and good furniture. The included breakfast was extremely underwhelming, and the man at the front desk is definitely moody. Still, the rooms are nice, and the area...

This is not a property I would have chosen from the outside, as it is on the corner of a busy street and busier street and appears to date from the '50's, but we were just passing through on our way south, looking for a place for the night, and the price was right. I was pleasantly surprised! The windows...

I knew not to expect much when the hotel cost less than $100, but the breakfast was a toaster and very limited cereal. Nothing fresh! The room was dark and the bed covers looked like they were original - from the 1960's. Give this one a pass!

Wow-I stayed for 4 days on business, and although it looks like a classic mid-century hotel, everything on the inside was immaculate and state of the art. Mr. Wang, the proprietor, is very "old school" in his ways, even calling the day before to confirm. Everyone in his family is involved in the upkeep, and he said he had used...

I stayed at this motel for a third time in July 2014 - was in town for a horse event. It's scrupulously clean and comfortable, and the furnishings and bathroom fixtures are MUCH nicer than you would expect for a mom & pop motel (i.e., granite countertops, marble-topped furniture). It's centrally located on Whidbey, an easy drive to all attractions,...
