this place has a lot of character and charm. it is older so don't expect modernity. but it is quaint, clean, and comfortable. great location if you have a car. we stayed on the first floor in the large room with view of the back fields where the sheep run around. dog friendly too which is perfect! susan fletcher is...

I've stayed here both when I was young and as an adult, and it has always been tranquil, calm, and lovely. The rooms are just beautiful with their views overlooking the meadow, big windows, and quaint details, such as clawfoot bathtubs. Susan is personable and wise with great stories, yet perfectly efficient and helpful. The place is immaculately preserved without...

I don't like to write negative reviews, so I've taken some time to think about this, but I must comment on our stay. Our sons gave us a weekend at this Inn. The owners and staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. There was nothing cozy or quaint about the stay. When we arrived the woman who works there was folding napkins...

Absolutely wonderful, peaceful, and contemplative place. Have not been to a better B & B. You will love it! Unlike many B & Bs that have tacky and inappropriate Victorian decor, this one has totally appropriate and tasteful furnishings. And the breakfasts are more than tasteful, they are delicious.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Turtleback Farm Inn in Orcas as part of our trip to the San Juan Island. The Inn is so pretty and homely! Lovely garden at the front that we enjoyed from our "garden view" room, welcoming lounge with comfy sofa, books and board games, house beautifully decorated all around with wooden panels and...

Bill and Susan are the Innkeepers at Turtleback Farm Inn. We arrived about noon and Bill started taking notes for breakfast because I am a fussy eater. We asked about whale watching and Bill got on the phone immediately and we were booked on a 1 PM excursion. That evening Susan gave us dinner recommendations and advised us which locations...

Excellant. Accommodations were very nice. Breakfast and service was wonderful. Host was very helpful in suggesting outings, dining, etc. and in making reservations for us. They made exceptions for early breakfast and lunches to go.. Very helpful.

The Turtleback Farm has almost everything going for it. The location is absolutely beautiful and tremendously bucolic. The rooms are clean and every detail has been considered. We stayed in the Orchard House, which is the newer of the two buildings on-site, although we spent considerable time in the farmhouse enjoying the art and news stories on the wall, as...

The Inn and rooms are beautiful. It was great waking up to see the sprawling pasture and sheep. The breakfast was good but there is no interaction with the other guests at breakfast. It would be nice to have a little more helpful greeting from the owners at breakfast. The first morning no one greeted us in the morning or...

This vintage facility is conveniently located, clean, well maintained & the staff experienced. Breakfast was acceptable, but basic. Unfortunately, a few elements deserve mention. 1. There are a lot of bees around, so we had to eat breakfast inside despite the lovely porch. I have no idea if some kind of abatement would be effective or even tried. 2. We...
