This ranch was beautiful, surrounded by forests and mountains. The stars were amazing each night and everything was so peaceful and quiet. Robin was a great host, the cabins are far enough apart to offer a feeling of privacy. The only sounds we heard were cows, horses, coyotes, squirrels, and birds singing. The location is great for folks with dogs or kids! Lots of hikes, little lakes all to yourself, board games to play each night, and wine under the stars. Each cabin was well appointed with everything we needed, and ideal during these social isolation times of COVID. You have a whole cabin to yourself! There are definitely still opportunities to socialize or seek solitude, whatever suits your needs. Highly recommend a stay here for as many nights as you can. We were sad to leave, but thoroughly enjoyed the time we had.

Thank you. The things you mention were very important to us in planning and creating Eden Valley Guest Ranch. We are always evaluating and working on projects to make it even better. Our most recent addition is disc golf. Guests may bring their own discs or we have a few discs of different specifications. We call it Ranch Disc Golf. We give guests big blue tubs to place themselves to create a special course. The ample space makes it safe for virus control of all types. This is a terrific game for people of all ages. It can even be made wheelchair accessible with thoughtful tub locations. I'm an outdoor person and work long hours, so am learning to get on these programs and respond. Guests are our #1 priority.

This is a delayed review, but we had a great multi-family trip there end of summer. The rank is huge, to contract the indoor we have been in these past months. The room is clean and comfy for a family of 4. Since they only have 10 cabins, you won't experience crowding like other vacation places. On the ranch, you can do campfire, and horse-riding. Outside rank, there are big lakes to enjoy w/o crowding.

One suggestion I have is to have a hand-washer in each cabin, esp. in this environment.

Thanks for the comments. We hope you were able to get on the trail system too. I guess I need to learn some new lingo as I do not know what "rank" is. The vanity sinks inside each cabin are for guests to wash their hands and we provide soap and towels. I will look up definition for "hand washer" Thank you.

We had a lovely time staying here over Christmas. We spent the days snowshoeing around all of their trails on the property and cozying up in the cabin by the wood stove. It was great for to not have to leave or drive to trails. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Cabins are prefect size for couples with small children or dogs. It was the perfect, relaxing getaway to wrap up 2020. Excited to come back in the different seasons!

We appreciate that guests enjoy the trails. They are a labor of love and one of my hobbies. We have been running the main trails with a snowmobile so guest doggies can go with their families snow shoeing or cross country skiing. Some guests preferred to just wear snow boots and hike that way. The children do pretty good just trekking in the packed trail.

Who would think in February with snow on the ground and potential of risky roads we would get away with taking a trip from Spokane to just below Canada in the Okanogan Country. We were burned out and couldn't wait for Spring. We needed refreshing now. We met Robin the hostess the late afternoon we arrived and she was so very gracious. We got to get a good feel of the life of a rancher/farmer. We got to be near the horses that afternoon and the next morning. 9 of them, so beautiful. The cabin was nice with a nice view. We got a VCR and some movies to enjoy at their office. We had such a good time! Thank you so much Robin! I look forward to some riding lessons with my wife in the future. Mike and Patricia

I stayed there for a couple nights with friends and it was comfortable and cozy. Of course the cabins are mainly set up for two people but Willow (guest clerk) brought us a futon kit for our third guest. I went there because I wanted to travel around the area and get pictures of ghost towns and abandoned buildings from the 1800s and it was a blast. Robin and Willow were very inviting and fun!!!

This summer we were looking for somewhere off-the-beaten track to disconnect from the daily grind and experience some unique territory. We found it at Eden Valley Guest Ranch. From our initial warm and inviting greeting by owner, operator, trail boss, local historian, campfire story teller (etc.) Robin we were treated not like guests, but rather like old friends. We found our clean and efficient cabin to be all we needed for our family of four. With a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed for my wife and me and a futon in the main room for our two daughters (10 and 12), we all slept well. The kitchen proved sufficient to cook all our meals - with the occasional help of the lodge gas grills. Having a full-sized refrigerator was especially nice to keep all our drinks cold, given the warm days. Our young golden doodle joined us for her first trip with the family and she had the run of the ranch – as long as she didn’t bother horses, cattle or get into the lodge. I am pretty sure she thought she was in dog heaven! The first of our four mornings we saddled up for a trail ride on a portion of the 900 acres that make up Eden Valley Ranch. With Robin in the lead - and after a friendly and informative introduction to trial riding - off we went. The country is spectacular - all of it at 3,500 feet in elevation or higher. We saw lots of wildlife, a historic (but abandoned) cabin and plenty of expansive vistas. Two hours later we returned in one piece (and amazingly not to sore) and ready to book a second ride later in the week (at least for the girls!). Below in the valley (a 20-minute drive away) we discovered the warm water of Osoyoos Lake (and a less crowded park that Robin suggested) and swan the afternoon away. Later in the week, we trekked to the nearby ghost town of Molson and visited the historic Molsen School. However, we always made sure to be back in time for the evening campfire Robin provides for guests and other friends who happened by. As the cool of the evening settled in each night – we all felt as if we had not only discovered a new favorite spot – but also new friends.

We were worn out after driving from Quebec to BC and needed some down time. This place was far off the beaten path and we were not afraid to let our dog run in the field by the lodge. Watch for large birds though. We picked up her poops in plastic bags and then laughed when hiking to the old homestead as the cow patties probably weighed more than she did. The museum was interesting and the area beautiful. Off-season you should bring in a few more provisions.

This is dog heaven on Earth! Dogs are welcome on the trail system off leash if they are under verbal control. Parents also tell us how wonderful it is to let their little kids run free down to the play area in a safe environment just like 50 years ago. We thank our guests with dogs for picking up after them. Cows do leave big pies, however, they are 100% vegetarian and have no non natural substance. Five cabins welcome pets and five are pet free. Thank you for coming to Eden Valley.

We just returned from our 4th visit to beautiful Eden Valley-in winter. We love this place and think the drive from the Westside is well worth it. For a winter getaway it has everything: well insulated cozy cabins, privacy, lots of dry firewood, great beds, high quality woodstoves, well equipped kitchen, snowy vistas and complete peace. This place is CLEAN and everything works!
We like to take our dogs and hike the trails around the hills and forests of the ranch. This is a working ranch with cattle and horses and crops a year round activity. Pat and Robin are wonderful hosts- you can count on genuine Okanogan hospitality.
We highly recommend this place and plan to keep coming back!

A great place to stay and get away from it all. I have stayed here many times, I think I've been in every cabin! I usually stay here for work and love the fact that I can cook for myself, the kitchen are really well equipped for such a small space. The view from all of the cabins is great and the area has a lot a things to do within driving or biking distance. You can also walk or take your horses right from the cabins.

Our tired group of 12 cyclists rolled into Eden Valley Guest Ranch last weekend after 100 gruelling miles (the last 25 uphill!). This is a beautiful, isolated spot with cozy, rustic cabins (equipped with kitchens and full bathrooms) looking over a bucolic working ranch. The owner Robin and her staff are welcoming, endlessly energetic, and cooked up a delicious feast for our group. Then we all passed out. In the morning we were greeted with a huge and delicious breakfast that got us well fuelled for the next hundred miles!

This is not a fancy resort - it's a rustic and rural getaway that oozes comfort, charm and hospitality. The cost was better than fair. Highly recommended.

PS The Okanogan Highlands are a hidden gem. Isolated, beautiful, quaint towns, wonderful roads for biking, no traffic. It was August long weekend and we would go 10 minutes or more without seeing a single car! Biking paradise.
