We were only there for the day to reminisce my friends days of owning property on Lake Wannacut. We had a lot of questions for Brian. He was so gracious to take the time to answer all of them. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch on the patio and a trip around the lake on a paddle boat. Brian gave us...

As usual stayed in a cabin with no TV, no phone, no cell phone service. What a great place to relax and enjoy. Beds are comfortable and the ownership is great. Brian and Gayle do a terrific job. The only drawback is they are trying to sell. Which means ne owners and we don't know what they will be like....

I stayed the first time in a tent in 2001 at the recommendation of a Coworker. I have rented a cabin for a week in August or early September every year since. Many of the families there have been coming for years. The place is a rustic log cabin style paradise. Leave your city folk ways and worries at the...

I located Sun Cove on the net. Thought it was right off the beaten path... Well I was wrong! There were 4 of us on motorcycles (3 motorcycles and 1 Can Am) and had no idea the condition of the road leading into the Resort. We are experienced riders so had no trouble with the road, although they were re-surfacing...

My family and I stayed a week at the Sun Cove during the summer of 2012 and had an amazing time!!! The owners were fantastic and treated us like members of the family. The kids loved the whole parks, from the heated swimming pool to the fishing. The nightly camp fires were great, who doesn't love a perfect smore before...

We stayed in the Papa Bear Cabin for a week with my extended family and had friends meet us there to camp. What a fun place. It is dated, but who cares, you are there to rest and relax! Between fishing out on the lake, and swimming in the pool, you can fill up your days as much or as...

We have been enjoying SUn Cove Resort for around 10 years now, making attempts to get their on Memorial and Labor day Weekends. The owners are superb, it's a quiet rustic place. Fishing has always been fun. Still trying for that 2-4 lb trout but have had to settle on the small 12" ones instead. Fun with family or just...

The owner Brian is a jerk. He has no business savy and has no compassion for treating people respectfully. Truly sad, as it is a beautiful place, but he is losing it. There were three RV's throughout the entire Labor Day WEEK. I can't blame anyone that refuses to be treated in the manner he treats people. Again, Brian is...

“If you want to be social stay in the main cabins. .The Papa and Mama Bear Cabins are more isolated and have their own reserved yards. I like the Papa Bear cabin which is really a 3 bedroom house and is separated from the rest of the cabins.”

“Looked in a couple windows of the cabins... Very nice!!!!!!”
Frogwashme, 27 Sep 2013 | Read review
“The cabins are great! Papa Bear has three separate bed rooms, two with full size beds, one with two twins, plus a pull out couch. Plus you have your own fishing area and yard!! I don't think there is a bad view in the whole resort!”
WAGirl20, 24 Oct 2012 | Read review
“The Papa Bear cabin's largest bed is a double, and they are outdated old beds. They work, but are not going to give you a good nights sleep. Since you need to bring your bedding for this cabin - bring a pad or memory foam topper to help you out!”
