This is the best family fishing resort in the State, perhaps the entire Northwest. My first trip to Sun Cove was in 1983 and I go back as often as I can because it reminds me of the trips I experienced as a kid when places like this were more plentiful. Located on a natural spring-fed lake, the trout are...

This is a great older place. Every night they make a communtiy campfire and we made smores. The place is older, but well cared for and clean. They are family friendly and very helpful. We fished and caught a ton of fish from their boats and right from the shore. The heated outdoor pool wasn't open yet, but it was...

Sun Cove Resort is a great place to take your kids. With the pool and the kittens and the pigs and the family oriented camp grounds. However the man who owns it has terrible customer service skills. I will not go back. After paying $30 a night for a camp spot (not a cabin) we were treated poorly. You would...

I made the reservation more than 3 months prior to the date of arrival. My circumstances changed and I had to cancel my reservation five weeks prior to the arrival date on the reservation. Not only had my credit card already been charged for more than half of the entire weeks booking ($175.00) but I was told at the time...

This place was pretty cool. Relaxing all day either on the lake or in your cabin. Will definitely go again. The only thing that needed attention was the bee's.

I stayed at Sun Cove Resort on beautiful Wannacut Lake in Okanogan County in Eastern Washington during my trip and not only did I enjoy a refreshing swim in the lake and a little fishing, I also found this really awesome trail ride place just down the street called Wannacut Lake Trail Rides and it was run by the gnarley...

“If you want to be social stay in the main cabins. .The Papa and Mama Bear Cabins are more isolated and have their own reserved yards. I like the Papa Bear cabin which is really a 3 bedroom house and is separated from the rest of the cabins.”

“Looked in a couple windows of the cabins... Very nice!!!!!!”

“The cabins are great! Papa Bear has three separate bed rooms, two with full size beds, one with two twins, plus a pull out couch. Plus you have your own fishing area and yard!! I don't think there is a bad view in the whole resort!”

“The Papa Bear cabin's largest bed is a double, and they are outdated old beds. They work, but are not going to give you a good nights sleep. Since you need to bring your bedding for this cabin - bring a pad or memory foam topper to help you out!”
