I stayed here with my two young boys while visiting family for 5 nights. We were very comfortable, and Lorraine was an excellent hostess. She made sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. It truly felt like home. The house is unique and has a great view. Highly recommended!

We walked on the ferry from Seattle to Bremerton. After touring the USS Turner Joy we took the foot ferry to Port Orchard. Lorraine's house is a short walk up the hill from the foot ferry. She was a friendly and hostess and enjoyed getting to know her. We had a lovely room with a shared bathroom. Breakfast was informal...

Great historic home that is very well taken care of by Lorraine! She is a very kind host that will give you great local tips and chat with you or give you your privacy. Breakfast was delicious--Greek yogurt, granola, fresh fruit salad! Her house is a quick walk away from downtown. We will stay here again. Thanks Lorraine! :)

My wife and I have stayed at Mrs. Howe's three times, and is our place of choice in Port Orchard. Lorraine Olsen is a most gracious and accommodating hostess with a charming smile. The living area with gas fireplace is restful and prepares one for a night of relaxed sleep. Harry's room is spacious and the bed is supplied with...

My husband and I recently stayed at Mrs. Howe’s Bed and Breakfast in Port Orchard, Washington. It was our first B&B experience, and it was delightful! Upon our arrival, the air was cold and crisp outside, yet the doors of the B&B opened to a warm and cozy home. The owner/innkeeper, Lorraine Olsen, was a very welcoming, hospitable hostess and...
