They allow visitors to tour the hotel even if they aren't staying, as long as they don't enter rooms that are occupied. It is a very cool place with lots of energy and history. The rooms are all named after the "ladies" who used to "work" in them. It is supposedly haunted and I know people who had their TV...

The town is lovely. The hotel is in a good location; the staff were accommodating and it is pet friendly, which is important for us. The people we met were friendly and we were extremely pleased with the restaurant selections. We definitely plan to return.

If you love history, you'll love the Palace Hotel. The staff was very friendly and the building is so cool with all the beautiful antique furnishings. They have done an excellent job at leaving tons of historical information throughout the hotel and you get an excellent feel for what it was like back in the day. Our room was on...

Stayed in 5 different rooms over three weeks, off and on. Sound really carries between the rooms, but I'm chalking that up to authentic Victorian charm. Super-high ceilings, excellent views, wide assortment of room types, comfy beds and bedding. Friendly and efficient front desk and house-keeping staff. With its Victorian style and central location, this place really helped us get...

Big room, comfortable beds and a unique history. The giant ceiling height on all three floors makes for a hike if you're a heavy packer and have a top floor room. But take a break on your way up and just imagine Miss Simone lounging on that staircase. This historic brothel was a hit with our teenage boys. It's said...

The gf and I stayed there because it looks so beautiful and supposedly haunted. Stayed in 7b miss Sara’s room. Brought the ghost hunting equipment and did an investigation. Caught an awesome orb and an evp that says "no" to my question. (so far, still need to go through more video) At 4:34am was awoken by my Rem Pod going...

Very neat resorted Victorian hotel. Nice rooms restored well with great beds. Great front desk service including carrying our bags up to third floor with no expectation of a tip. Great proximity to ferry and downtown port Townsend.

My sister and I stayed in Miss Ruby's Room. It had two queen beds and the room was very charming. There is no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor so lots of steps! But it was really a nice stay. The hotel is close to pretty much everything.

I loved the character & history of this hotel. Right on the main street, by the waterfront and many great eating places nearby. The marina, which is always full of activity is five minutes walk away. Although it is a Victoria building the room was excellent. They have renovated the rooms to add bathrooms. Ours had a fabulous walk in...

Well worth the effort. We were in the corner room number 11 and was impressed with its amenities and view!! I would recommend if you were in good shape and have packed lightly. No elevator! Beautifully appointed and historic hotel.
