As long as you can do a long stretch of stairs (30 +) you will enjoy #1 room as that is our room to review. Everything was clean and comfortable, great mattress for sure. The vintage furniture was well preserved as was the wardrobe and old matched pair of sitting chairs. Bathroom was clean with wear showing on gold plate...

I love quirky old places. The Belmont is definitely one of those. As you climb the stairs it feels like you are walking down a street. We stayed in room 2, a street view room. When you open the door the large brick wall and very tall ceilings say grand. The bay windows are lovely. The wood is original. The...

Port Townsend was plenty busy so we were hunting for some lunch. Fortunately one friend remember the Belmont. They need better signage because it was hard to tell that they served foid beyond the hotel. Our server took good care of us. The clam chowder was excellent.

When you enter, you find lace curtains and a restaurant on the water behind. The view right on Water Street could not be more beautiful. It's a great location to watch the sunrise. The accommodation is lovely.

The Belmont is an historic waterfront hotel and restaurant conveniently located in the central part of Port Townsend. The restaurant occupies the whole of the bottom of the building while the hotel rooms are upstairs accesses via a separate door and up a flight of stairs. You always have to judge historic hotels on a different basis from modern ones....

We have stayed a couple of times now, basic old rooms in an old water front building. Room 4 has a good water view. This place is over due for upgrades, but if looking a a peaceful place with no frills it works. Room 4 also has a loft room for the kids. The window doesn't close tight, you get...

Wonderful lunch on outdoor deck @ The Belmont in Port Townsend. We split a yummy crab & artichoke sandwich & loved the berry cobbler that came with whipped cream & ice cream! Loved the historic building and enjoyed great service!

The Hotel only has four rooms and they are decidedly original and full of character. Not you standard hotel room here! The loft room was good fun with views out to the pier. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable

This is the second time in two years I have reviewed this restaurant ,the ambiance in the restaurant is calm & friendly and in my experience unlike most hotel restaurants. The view of the waterfront is available from most tables. The decor is slightly tired, but somehow very acceptable. The lunch time menu while not extensive is sufficient and the food is both...

“If you really want to stay here, and can spend the extra money, go for either room 3 or 4 with the beachfront and water views -- and hope they have improved the housekeeping. And ask if the leg on the hassock in room 3 has been fixed yet, and have they unstopped the sink.”

“Definitely invest in water front view. The sun was so beautiful coming over he mountains, across the water and directly on us. Perfect way to wake up in the morning.”
