We were only here for one night and stayed in a two story duplex on officers row. It was just a couple homes from the ocean and looked out on the large parade yard. We saw a few deer out there at night. The house is very old and hasn't been updated so it had that old house smell. But...

I had to survive a week stay in 2015 and another in 2016. Must return for same conference in 2017. Rooms are cold and very rustic...but food was the worst. By the second day most of us were eating out of the snack bar and going to Safeway. Fear for our health....weird combinations and God help you if your vegetarian!...

Spent a few nights here on one of the beast weather weekends of the summer. Rented and stayed in one of the houses. We stay in the Corporal's. It was a duplex. Pet friendly. It was so spacious. Full kitchen including microwave. Remodeled more- modern bathroom. Amazing grounds that are very well taken care of. Beautiful sandy beaches. Beautiful sunsets....

The pictures provided to the booking site are deceptive! I booked this "two bedroom villa" which turned out to be an old house that looked like the scene of a horror movie! My family checked in and then checked right back out, we didn't even want to see the upstairs. The house had an outside door to the basement (common,...

What you have here is an Army Base from the First World War frozen in time at 1952. End of the Korean war. That is when the Army decided that in an atomic age of bombers and guided missiles, coastal artillery no longer made any sense. That whole branch of the army was just snipped off, and has no modern...

We arrived late at night, exhausted and had booked a two bedroom corporals house. I asked about an upgrade as there were 5 of us and for only $25 more he put us into a 4 bedroom which was so nice. It is an old house, one of four huge apartments in a big brick building, among many other homes...

Fort Worden is a fantastic place to visit. Camp ground is great. My father was raised at Fort Worden. Married my mother in the church on the fort. The Barracks are fun to explore and see. The light house is where my mother was raised. May through September tour are done on Saturday from 1 to 4. Fun place for...

Ft Worden has it all at a great price. We rented the largest officer's house (the other one like it is at the end of the row and is a museum). It held about 14 people and was $700 for the week. Prices change, but whatever it is it is a great deal. From the house, which has a large...

This was a good visit. Maintenance of the facility has improved and is appreciated. Campground Host informed the reservation system will return to State Parks 1 January. Ordered an extra hot hot chocolate at the Commons Cafe--it was barely warm.

A great location overlooking the Straits of Juan De Fuca, with real Army buildings that go back to the last century, a nice military museum, and the site of an iconic movie "An Officer and a Gentleman". Why wouldn't you visit. We've been several times and always find it enjoyable. Yesterday there was a military recreation of battles that included...
