Do you accept AARP?
I also don't remember and I also don't have AARP. I may have used AAA, but usually just confirming my age with my drivers license gives me all of the advantages of AARP so why bother signing up? I also would advise calling them. The front desk person is very helpful, and if the cost sounds good to you, you can also ask other things such as the possibility of getting a room on the lower floor (there are no elevators), or if you want, the lower floor with the fireplace. While the upper floors looked very wonderful, there were a fair number of steps that you would have to go up and down with your luggage.

Can't honestly say. My husband and i stayed in a double room with a sitting area. It was great for us but would have been tight with 2 teenagers - I believe they have larger accommodations. The breakfasts are not especially large and there is no common eating/sitting area. My biggest concern would be about the noise level. This is/seemed to be a very quiet place...verging, when we were there, on "romantic". I don't know how a group of 8, with teenagers would "fit". I hope that helps.
