Port Townsend is full of old Victorian houses and charm galore. Don't plan to spend the night if you need things new, spotless and modern. That said, the Waterstreet Hotel is in the midst of town. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had room 19 which is a suite on the 3rd floor with a kitchen. The gulls shriek in...

We had a great stay at the water street hotel. The room was charming and the staff was very friendly. The parking was very limited since only street parking is available. I would stay here again the bed was very comfortable.

We only stayed one night in Port Townsend, but this was a great spot for it! It is definitely an older place and not a modern, trendy hotel, and as long as you know that going into it you'll be very happy. Great staff and really cool room with high ceilings and a private bath. Would def stay again.

We stayed at this quaint hotel a few weeks ago. It is just your basic hotel. No frige or A/C but within walking distance to anything! The beds in our room..#6...were just perfect! Would we stay again, you ask....YES! It was very clean and right in town.

My group of 6 couples stayed here in late March for a birthday getaway from Vancouver. We each had our own suites, but one couple made sure to book room 15 (the top floor room with a patio, kitchen and view), so we spent lots of time just hanging out on the patio there. The service was great and the...

I stayed here on two separate trips in December, in Suites 15 & 16. Both suites had full kitchen set ups and Suite 15 has a gas fireplace, deck, and excellent water views. Quiet location, perhaps due to being off season, and unique historic charm with spacious rooms & high ceilings. Suite 15 is the best as a large studio...

We stumbled upon the Waterstreet Hotel after a horrible night in a hostel. All we wanted was a place to sleep and to sort out our bags for the four days of camping we had planned. A very cosy place, comfy bed and clean. We chose room 14 at the top of the stairs. It was ashamed bathroom, but had...

Okay, we were looking for something different and inexpensive for a single night. That objective was definitely achieved. We did not pre-book, so were able to review the available rooms. The building is truly fantastic. High ceilings, period furnishings, magnificent central atrium. The rooms vary considerably from smallish shared-bathroom to imperial grandeur with sweeping sea views. We opted for an...

The ladies at the Info Centre suggested the Waterstreet Hotel when we said that we wanted an inexpensive hotel downtown. They warned us that it was not it is not much to look at on the outside. The reception is a lady in the adjacent gift store who said go have a look at the empty rooms upstairs. There was...
