Stayed the night there to attend a music event at the brew pub. The room smelled old, and there was some peeling paint on the ceiling. The smoke alarm needed a new battery as it was chirping away. They quickly replaced the battery and all was quiet again. Not a bad place if you just need a place to sleep...

This motel was built as a top-end motel, with beautiful log exterior and wonderful wood architectural features throughout. Republic seems to be dying out, and as a consequence the Prospector is fading a bit in its charm. Our room was generous and spacious, but the carpeting could use a replacement, and updates are needed. The jacuzzi is vintage 1970s, and...

We stayed at Prospector Inn just for 1 night before heading back on the road for our trip. It was all right, far much better than the Coulee House Inn in Grand Coulee. We were on the 3rd floor; the room had a couch, flat screen TV, a refrigerator, microwave and the size of the room was spacey enough for...

Spent four nights here during week on a business trip. The room was typical motel style room with minifridge and microwave. The heater in the room was very loud when it kicked on, wife wore earplugs. The staff was friendly we dealt with. Located on Main Street in town easy walking distance to places to eat.

I called from Colville to make a reservation. The young lady I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Our large, clean room had a comfortable king size bed, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, free wifi, fridge, microwave, etc. The better than average continental breakfast included hard boiled eggs, bagels, excellent raisin bread, peanut butter, cream cheese, cereal, juice, etc.

We were heading to Republic on our way up to BC. Spent two nights here. Prospector Inn looks better in the photos than it is in real life, it is essentially a cheap motel dressed up in some wooden boards. That said, the staff and owners were very nice, breakfast typical but still plentiful (at least when we were here,...

Stayed here one night on our way home from Spokane. The hotel is a bit run down and the room was very basic. The check in process was slow as the lady was either new or didn't understand much about the process. The room was large with a view out the back. Furnishings and bed were basic but OK. There...

Get into my room and its nothing like is shown in the pictures on line. Ac unit is trashed, room is very small, the phone keeps ringing with customers calling the front desk. I have stayed in some bad hotels but this one takes the cake. Not worth the price they charge at all. Matter fact I wish I brought...

I stayed here while on a bicycle tour in eastern Washington. I'm really happy it was only for one night. Our room smelled musty and had the smell of animals in it. Likely the prior occupant had a dog in the room. Our air conditioner/heater knob was busted and I had to request pliers from the maintenance man so I...

I came to republic with my family in 2007 for a family wedding and the inn was not very good. So the next time we were in town we switched to a hotel up the street but that place didn't turn out to be that great this time we went back to this inn because they have family rooms which...
