This iconic hotel has a great position with lovely views. We didn't stay but we were able to look around inside and walk along the external balconies. It seemed very cosy and welcoming. I would love to return and stay for a few nights.

A hotel over a century old in a prisitinely maintained resort. Highly touristy, but no less pretty for it, Roche Harbor is lovely for a short break on San Juan. The suites in the hotel have large, very comfortable beds, and good showers tall enough for those a shade over six feet, and that's honestly all I ever want from... More

great US experience. I like the Ceremony of colours. The Hotel is old and floor squeaky. Lots of Character. Bathrooms very nice and they supply good soap and lotions. Some of the room on second floors do not have personal bathrooms. I am only from Victoria which is an hour and a half away by ferry. Yet it is a... More

We did not realize we were staying at a historic resort! What an interesting place of boats, families, weddings, and views. The room and bathroom across the hall were comfortable and clean. One of us did need earplugs to fall asleep due to the Friday night band at the marina restaurant but that was fine. A neat experience!

Definitely a million dollar view especially from room nine on the third floor. You need to be aware you share two really nice bathrooms on each floor though our room had a sink and no TVs. It's old but they have done an outstanding job on the restoration. Really enjoyed our stay.

First off if you plan to stay in the hotel don't expect a 4 or 5 star quality room and finishes . The purpose of staying in the hotel is the convenience of being right smack in the middle of the resort and the historic feel of being transported back to the 1900s where you shared a bathroom with other... Booked a 2 bedroom condo on the Lagoon side with a Groupon before the REAL tourist season begins. Celebrating the 50th Wedding Anniversary of family...made ferry reservations and everything went smoothly. Only drawback were the stairs up and down to reach our condo..but the view was worth it! Comphy accommodations included a nice kitchen & livingroom and dinningroom! LOVED the... More

It's hard to top the beauty of San Juan Island & the serenity of Roche Harbor but Hotel de Haro puts the icing on the cake. We had a two bedroom unit on a hill overlooking the harbor. A little way away from the main hotel but with plentiful parking and 24 hour golf cart shuttling around the resort. The... More

We got a great deal on Groupon and booked 2 nights. We picked the condo, since reviews of the shared bathrooms in the main hotel scared us. We came by ferry, and Arrival and check in were easy. Our room was huge and roomy, with a kitchen and fireplace, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs, and a loft upstairs that... More

The entire historic hotel and shared bathrooms have been upgraded this year. The feel of the hotel is still historic, but the rooms , furnishings, linens and... More

I had a great night at the De Haro. It was a beautiful day and sunset, mid-April. My daughter and I wandered the garden and dock, Our newly rebab'ed rooms were nicely appointed with queen-sized beds and water views of the harbor. I am a harsh judge of hotel beds (I almost never find them comfortable) but the De Haro... More
