Cedarbrook Lodge garners praise for its tranquil setting and an array of amenities including appreciated airport shuttles, though guests have called out a desire for more dairy-free snack options and better noise management. The hotel's cleanliness and well-kept facilities consistently earn rave reviews, as does the friendly service, despite occasional organizational hiccups. While the lodge's atmosphere is deemed inviting, with a blend of rustic charm and modern comforts, some reviewers suggest the decor could use updating. Room comfort is recognized, although areas for improvement such as contemporary touches and light leakage have been noted. The restaurant's pricing has led many to question the value, seeking a balance between cost and quality.

While there are lots of motels and hotels surrounding SeaTac, Cedarbrook is pretty unique. As a former corporate conference center its wooded location is unique among airport lodging. Its spread out a bit on the campus but walking paths and elevators make getting about straight forward. It is close enough to all the various watering holes and restaurants near the airport- or you can stay home and enjoy the amenities at the lodge itself. Front desk personnel were excellent. The public spaces are lodge decor and very attractive. Our rooms were in the Spruce wing with good access from ADA parking. Snacks are complementary in the cozy "lodge living rooms" and there is a fitness center and outdoor spa, no pool unfortunately.
Our rooms were large with a large bath, with modern functional decor and furnishings. The room had a very good bed, linens and pillows. The bath had very good toiletries and good towels- one had a bath tub with an overly high step in ( caution to partially abled people) but the second one had a large walk in shower. The rooms have a large flatscreen with lots of channels, complementary internet, very good in room coffee, a refer and safe, very good HVAC but no microwave. As noted the common living rooms have complementary snacks- ice cream with toppings and yogurt with granola. Breakfast is not included, but available at the Copperleaf restaurant. The Copperleaf Restaurant and Bar offer a couple of different menus and has routinely been very good. A shuttle to and from the airport ( and other destinations) runs about every half hour. The quality of the house nearly justifies the slightly higher rate than many chain hotels in the area- an included or discounted breakfast would make the offerings and value nearly unbeatable. Parking is charged, but they have a discount for longer term park and fly patrons. The location, accommodations and staff make this a high quality offering at SeaTac. One of the best- will become our go-to pre and post flight house at SeaTac.

Cedarbrook is consistently peaceful. It feels like it is a million miles away from the airport, yet it is convenient and close to the airport and public transit.
This time I found that I had to ask to have my room made up/replenished regardless of the "Do Not Disturb" sign or the time of day. However, the staff members were pleasant, helpful, and polite. Cedarbrook is still classy and clean, and far above any other hotel in the SeaTac area. PS Remember to dine at Copperleaf for a scrumptious meal!

We had a wonderful stay. The room we stayed in had adequate space for the two of us and our luggage. The king sized bed was one of the most comfortable beds ive slept on and it had nice linens. The bathroom was very big and had a large walk in shower with excellent water pressure and heat. Our only complaints with the room were the fridge being small, no microwave, and the TV had less than 100 local channels with no on screen guide. Definitely not dealbreakers but, for the overall price of $289.65 a night -$838.98 the first 3 nights booked with a 3rd party @$222 a night rates, and $609.26 for the last 2 nights which was the hotels rate of $269 a night -we felt like it was a little overpriced and we weren't impressed with the hidden fees. For that cost I would expect there to be some included amenities such as breakfast or free parking for one vehicle. The rooms were clean and we did not hear any noise from guests in adjoining rooms the entire 5 night stay other than the occasional door shutting in the hallway. We did not have to worry about our valuables while housekeeping cleaned, or our vehicle while parked on the property. All in all I would recommend this hotel if you dont mind spending the extra money or if you can find a good deal on it.

We stayed at Cedarbrook for a 3rd time the evening of Sept. 3, and once again this airport hotel was exceptional. We want to give a special shout out to Denise who helped us w/ a problem we'd created by booking our reservation for the wrong day. She was so friendly & helpful, making sure we still got a room, which we appreciated so much because we were exhausted and it was late at night. Thank you Denise.

The bed and pillows are exceptionally comfortable and the linens - sheets, pillowcases and towels - are top-notch. We had the best night's sleep. I'd like to buy the pillows!

If you're looking for a nice (much nicer than normal) airport hotel, we highly recommend. It has a beautiful garden setting, away from any hubbub, w/ a lovely restaurant and bar.

I’ve stayed at Cedarbrook Lodge many times over the years because of its beautiful grounds, well laid-out rooms, and friendly service. I’m sorry to say that I will probably stay elsewhere in the future because the prices have gone up so significantly. Back when Cedarbrook Lodge offered a lavish complementary breakfast buffet and free parking, along with far lower room prices with available discounts, it was a good value. Nowadays, it’s difficult to justify the higher prices, particularly considering that the gym (now starting to look run-down) and the rooms (still pleasant and comfortable) have never been renovated in all the years I’ve been coming to the hotel. I’ll miss this place!

Grounds are nice, bed is so comfy, lobby area is welcoming with coffee, tea, cider, hot cocoa and pets are welcome.

There is a short walking path on the property and I see property is fenced.

The living room has a convenient filtration system, yogurt and string cheese.

Each staff I had direct interaction with was nice. The other guests were even nicer.

Restaurant food was good, costly and menu could benefit from additional information such as items containing nuts, like the side salad. It would have been appreciated to offer a salad without nuts after questioning what was given to me.

I went there to get some rest. Unfortunately, staff was quite loud in the halls where I could not. Conversation was not in passing; rather, it was close by for some time, each time, regardless of the do not disturb sign.

My sink was clogged, tough to use to simply wash hands or brush teeth.

The elevator was not in service nor was the freezer to hold the ice cream their handout talks about.

It was apparent the top of the cozy chair in the room had not been vacuumed or wiped down or something. Flakes. Maybe dandruff flakes. Lots of flakes across the top of it made me apprehensive to use it.

I chose not to address these issues while there for many reasons and hope this is heard for future guests. Nor did I have an opportunity to share as no one asked.

Unexpected stay in Seattle due to flight delay. Booked based on reviews. Unexpected and pleasant surprise. Very clean, good service and a lot of small extras.

Quick free shuttle pick up from the airport. Close to the airport but tucked into residential neighborhood with the feeling of a lodge.
Our luggage was not with us so we had none of our travel necessities. We were given a free amenities bag on arrival with toothbrushes, toothpaste, and deodorant. There were small living areas on each wing with snacks (which we did not have but would be nice for some) and a water station to fill your bottles with still or sparkling water. Room was very clean and spacious.

Expresso cart is lobby was a nice touch and breakfast at the restaurant was solid. Exceeded our expectations. Left for our flight rested and refreshed.
Would also be good conference hotel for a small or mid-size group.

Convenient for the airport, about 10 minutes away depending on the traffic with its own shuttle bus. This runs on the hour and half hour going to the airport, prebook as it is a small bus. The hotel is set in extensive gounds, growing some of its own vegetables and herbs, pleasant to be able to wander about. Rooms are set either in the main building or an extension, umbrellas provided! The rooms are large, some with overbath showers or walk in showers. Complementary toiletries, coffee machine, plenty of light and sockets. Restaurant needs to be booked as it can be busy, service can be slow but food cooked to order. Reasonable menu choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff.

The shuttle service was first class, the best we have experienced. The setting is very nice and there is a Denny’s and Subway less than a ten minute walk away via the side gate, across the DoubleTree car park.
Unfortunately the customer service from the rest of the team is an area for improvement. The check in staff seemed inexperienced. No assistance with luggage was offered and we were assigned the wrong category of room. We had booked a Balcony King Room but given a standard accessible room. As we arrived late (nearly midnight) after a long flight, we did not notice there was no balcony until the following morning. Requests for a refund for the difference in room category were ignored until we contacted the General Manager directly, who responded immediately and a refund was processed within two days.
Note, there are no curtains in the rooms, only roller blinds which let in a lot of light from the sides.

The experience did not meet my expectation given the price point and the reviews. The common space is beautiful. However, our room was slightly dated. The electrical outlet behind the nightstand was pulled out from the wall leaving a hole through the wall. The coffeemaker in the room was not functional. Not that it is a serious hardship to walk to the main lobby to get coffee, but this is all about failing to meet expectations and to be able to enjoy a cup of coffee in the room without having to get fully dressed to get coffee. The snacks in our common space were lacking. There was no ice cream. There was granola in a plastic dispensing device, but it would not actually release any granola. We are staying at Cedarbrook on our return flight in two weeks and will see if the experience is any better. If there is ice cream in the lounge and a functioning coffee maker in our room, then we will consider our first experience a one-off and may book again in the future. Otherwise, we will look for other options. It’s not really about wanting the ice cream but rather meeting my expectation that there would be some available as touted. Oh, but I guess it is about having a convenient cup of coffee in the room…..

Just to be clear from what others are saying...There's an extremely short little path at the bottom of the property. I'd say it's even shorter than everyone else has said, if you did it slowly it might take 5 minutes! You could walk around the surrounding area, it's not dumpy but the surrounding area is not picturesque either.

Did you check with Cedarbrook and see if their shuttle could take you to the cruise port? Otherwise, I'm thinking taxis or car service.
