We stayed here the night before a flight out of SeaTac and booked a park n fly package. They have underground parking and a shuttle that runs every every half hour in the morning and on demand the rest of the day (it took less than ten minutes for the ride to the terminal).

The best part of the hotel is the lobby and bar area: they have two pool tables , a couple of arcade games, foosball and even table top shuffle board! There were also many board games available. Dining options are limited but the breakfast sandwiches we had were pretty tasty (platinum elite members get one hot item plus a drink). They also had free coffee in the lobby in the morning, it wasn't very good but was drinkable.

We had a two queen corner room which was very spacious. I'm not a fan of the bathroom set up though. There's a separate area with the toilet and shower with a barn door but the sink area is open to the bedroom and has a motion activated light. So it's impossible to bathroom area at night without waking people up.

The room was nice enough but a little tired and the lighting was very dim, to the point we thought we were missing something.

That being said I'd stay again when flying out of SeaTac.

The hotel offered the amenities that were required for an overnight stay: free shuttle to and from the Seattle International Airport; a clean, comfortable and quiet room; and an option for room service. The lobby area of the hotel is a bit unusual, as it provides both a dining/bar area with a game/play area for families. The hotel room was exceptionally well planned with plenty of room to reorganize my suitcase, stretch out, do some yoga and have a light dinner. The bathroom area is well laid out with just enough space to accommodate the needs. An unexpected treat were the delicious fish tacos ordered from the room service menu. The only downside for some might be that the metro line runs above ground right by the hotel, so if the slightest noise bothers you or you need a room with a view, be sure to confirm the location of your room. I slept comfortably even with the metro right outside my room and would return to the Aloft, for another overnight stay.

We needed an affordable place by the airport with a shuttle and we close aloft. It’s very modern and slightly funky. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and customer focused. We stayed in a king room, it was on the small side but it was well furnished to be very functional and streamlined. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The lobby had lots of space to hang out as well as board games, a pool table, arcade and other games to play for free. They had a bar with a few food options but they also had a little convenience store that offers frozen food, snacks beverages. I really appreciated that they had gluten free and vegetarian options and add Lao had almond and oat milk options. They accepted dogs but only smaller ones. If they didn’t have a dog size limit this would be my go to hotel for the area but I typically travel with my large dog.

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport, its price (way too high for the value), and its being a part of the Bonvoy program. Upon arrival we contacted the hotel to ask for a shuttle ride and the desk clerk (11:30 pm) was curt and dismissive to our questions. She would not send a shuttle to our location until we called back with the exact spot (we were 3 minutes away from the spot) and then did not tell the truth by indicating the shuttle was there and waiting. Upon arriving at the hotel, the clerk was again curt and did not display hospitality as we checked in. We took the elevator to our floor, and upon arriving, were greeted with a terrible smell in the hallways that was a cross between rotting food and spoiled milk. It continued until we got to our room. In our room, it was well appointed as are Aloft hotels. As we searched the room, we found that there was only 1 (one) light switch that controlled the overhead lighting AND the bathroom lights. One could not choose what was needed. So, in order to use the shower, toilet, or sink, we had to have all the lights on, bothering the other in the room. There were only 2 bath towels in the room (even though it was a double queen, and we had requested extra towels).

In the end, this hotel is disappointing and does not live up to the Aloft brand expectation. I understand we are not staying at a JW, but we have basic expectations for a hotel charging $220+ per night.

I heard that the hotel is about 4 years old. The rooms have lights that turn on and after by your motion. The air conditioning in the room was cold so, I got a nice comforter.
Ephemeral the shuttle driver was very nice. He took me to the local Denny’s so I could get my free Birthday breakfast.
The hotel offers the free shuttle back and forth to the hotel and the airport plus local restaurants. In order to visit Southcenter mall, I was given a card at the hotel to scan a QR code with my phone to get a reservation. That service is offered free by the City of Tukwila for visitor at nearby hotels especially the ones in the SeaTac area.
As an Elite Marriott rewards member, I was given a card to redeem for two free juices, and two free breakfast sandwiches. I chose the OG which was very good , and has crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, spinach, fried egg on a brioche bun.
Fran at the Front Desk was very helpful telling me the best way to print my documents, and even brought me a folder to put them in for my travels.
The hotel has a bar in the lobby near a pool table. Also a laundry room called a clean room , and it cost $2.00 for the washing machine, and $2.00 for the dryer. Detergent can be purchased in the lobby.

I arrived into Seattle during all the snow & ice problems with airport closures and endless flight cancellations. I had to stay the night as connecting travel was impossible. I immediately went on to the Marriott Bonvoy app and saw the pickings were slim. I immediately booked Aloft as in such weather conditions, hesitation means you miss out on both transportation and accommodation bookings. Aloft was a huge disappointment, whilst the check-in staff member was very pleasant, the hotel lobby looked like a budget hotel or hostel. I was paying USD 315.00 for the night and it was ZERO value for money. The room was ok, nothing special and a bit tired it seemed... and the weird issue with one light switch for the entire room made no sense. Luckily I was travelling alone. The snack shop area in the lobby was abysmal - a horrible selection and nothing for breakfast except bad coffee from a machine and muffins, cake slices, small cereal containers and sad looking fruit cups etc. No hot food items to order were available as the chef wasn't in that day. I would never stay there again...the first time in a Marriott Bonvoy hotel that I truly felt ripped off. USD 315 is a lot for nothing.

Stayed 2 nights and was happy with the stay

Room was large and clean. Bed was comfortable.
Shuttle worked really well for airport/train station drops and pickups - making it easy to go to downtown and back to airport early morning next day.
Coffee in lobby in the morning was good(fresh milk would make it better!)
Staff were friendly.

Couple of minor issues -

The lighting near basin is motion sensor based which is annoying and can go on/off unexpectedly.

There was noise from nearby rooms - but that's on the guests for creating the noise early morning/late night.

So I guess I’m “hip” now that I’ve stayed at an Aloft Hotel. This “different by design” hotel is practical and functional with a capital P. I found the hotel an interesting twist for a Marriott brand. Rooms are modern with a “mid century modern” flair. The hotel has a little bit of everything to make your stay at a mid-range hotel comfortable. The lobby is expansive with areas for hanging/chilling, games (two old style arcade video games, pool and shuffleboard), plus a full bar. Rooms are no frills functional. Bathroom has a single sink, walk in shower with large fixed to the wall bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, small closet and safe; huge flat screen TV and fast internet. Interesting add: an odd but apparently modern newfangled steamer instead of a traditional iron. It worked. Nice and accommodating staff.

This hotel is close to the airport with shuttle service from and to the airport. There is also shuttle service to some restaurants in the immediate area. The corner room was especially large and the bed and bedding comfortable. The rooms, however are not very sound proof as you could hear people walking on the floor above and not surprisingly, airplanes late into the night and early in the morning. While this hotel has a bar and food items for purchase, it does not have a restaurant or complimentary breakfast. For that reason, I would not recommend it to families traveling with children.

To say there is a restaurant in a gross overstatement. Everything about this hotel was overrated. The room has one light switch for the entire space including the bathroom. I would take the 30 min early morning ride to the airport from Seattle over this hotel every time.
