We needed a hotel close to the airport for an early flight.
Check in was quick and the desk staff were very pleasant
The room was med sized with a king bed.
It appeared clean, but it had a musty old smoke smell that never went away. It was listed as a non smoking room, but it smelled like someone had smoked in it. Perhaps we should have moved, but after a 300 mile drive we were not in a mood to argue.
The AC worked well
The bed was clean and comfortable
The bathroom had a separate sink area from the shower/toilet. However the toilet area was rather small and it was hard to get past the door without banging into the toilet
the room had a big TV with a good selection of channels
THe room had a fridge and microwave
There was no safe for valuables.
There were plenty of outlets
the gym was OK with some free weights, but no other machines except treadmills.
there was no pool or hot tub
The room was quiet depite being next to an airport.
Breakfast was average- They had some burritos and scrambled eggs, yogurt and bagels, but no waffles or cinnamon rolls.
they did have a shuttle to the airport and we found out later that they drop off at local restaurants.

I stayed here after a 2.5-hour drive from Vancouver in the evening.
The sink is situated next to the entrance, which I find to be quite a weird placement but I was too tired to care. The bathroom is just across it with a shower and consists of the basic amenities - conditioner, showering gel, shampoo, a soap bar and an used lotion (I thought the lotion would be replaced if it has been opened and used regardless of how full it still is). But again, I'm sleep deprived, so I didn't care much.
The bed itself feels reasonably comfortable though it's not the best hotel bed that I've been on. The thing that bothered me most was how noisy the AC and the thermostat is. The thermostat makes a ticking noise every now and then, and with me being a lightsleeper, I could hardly get any quality sleep that night.
For breakfast, items are fairly basic but taste better than expected. For hot items, you'll find frittatas, scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. The rest consists of fruits, yogurt, bagel, some pastries and toast.
As for drinks, coffee, tea and apple juice can be found.
I don't have anything to complain about apart from the noisy AC unit that kept me from falling asleep. For just $130 USD (after tax), this is a stay that worth the money. It would make sense for you to stay here if you're arriving into Seattle late in the evening or have a very early flight out the next morning.
With free breakfast and complimentary shuttle service included, I couldn't think of any reason not to choose this for your stay.

Our flight got cancelled by Delta Airlines unexpectedly due to weather, so we had to spend the night unplanned. It had rooms available with very reasonable last minute rates, so after we got our luggage, we called up for the shuttle to come and pick us up. It turned out the shuttle was already on its way here picking up other customers (they share shuttle van with Holiday Inn Express next door), we didn't have to wait long at all.
The room is what you would expect at a Fairfield Inn. Clean, everything you need is there. Quiet enough for a good night sleep, didn't really hear the airplanes until later the next morning.
Breakfast is on the better side: fresh bananas, all the basic continental items. We enjoyed the frittatas, turkey sausages, oatmeal, and yogurt.
For the price we paid, very good value. Note that they're upgrading their elevators, so only down to the one functioning.

Upon arriving, I noticed that the room that we staying in was an ADA. The second concern and issue upon checking, the bedding which I do for every hotel that we stay in making sure that there is no bedbugs, so we do not take back home. I noticed there was blood stains on the bedding, so I called the receptionist to ask if she could change the bedding also, there was hair on the bed as if the sheets had not been clean. I took pictures and I went to the front desk and let her know my concerns. She switch my room two different times the second time it was the same thing which was located on the first floor, she then told me that the same housekeeper is designated to one floor and most likely the same one clean all the rooms on the first floor. I then asked to be relocated to a different floor in hopes that it was, not the same issue. Upon entering the room it was very dirty, but because we had to fly out of the country the next day, my fiancé and I decided to stay and let the receptionist know that we will be reaching out to the manager in regards to the service that was received all the rooms that I was given had blood stains on the sheets. Upon checking out I noticed my credit card was charged $60. I was never informed that I was being charged $20 for incidentals for each room that was switched. I was upset and I let them know that I cannot deal with this matter, and that I will be calling to speak to the manager as soon as possible. Upon arriving back to this country I called and tried to speak to the manager to address my concerns however, I had no success in reaching the manager, so I left a message, addressing briefly what the call was regarding and ask for a return call back. That was on 16 Jan. I have yet to receive a phone call to address these issues. I’m in hopes of someone rectifying this matter ASAP.
Update I contacted the Better Business Bureau and the company refused to resolve this issue. I would never stay at another Marriott again, and I will not be recommending when it come to this specific Marriott. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Very happy with our stay here. We were looking for a place very near the airport because we had a morning flight. This place is only 10 minutes from the airport. Check in was a breeze. Friendly staff. The room was contemporary, spacious. Plenty of counter space by the sink for toiletries. Plenty of light in the room. The shower was very cool, with shampoo/conditioner dispensers, and a sliding glass door as opposed to a shower curtain. Plenty of hooks in the shower for your bath towel, clothes etc. I would definitely stay here again!

I’ve stayed in many of the SeaTac Airport hotels over the years but this was my first to the Marriott Fairfield. I’ve noticed that many of its competitors are charging downtown prices these days. Maybe testing the market to see what it will bear in the post COVID travel boom, which will ticks me off. Fairfield is reasonably priced relative to the Doubletree which tends to be the first place I think of when overnighting at SeaTac. Here is why the Fairfield is superior. It is smaller so if you get in late you don’t have a 15 minute walk to o your room from the front desk. The van pickup was very efficient and even though the hotel doesn’t face the airport proper it is close enough that the ride is fast. I really like the design of the shower stall. Plenty of room to store toiletries and the hot/cold lever is on the wall toward back of the stall rather than under the spout. Ingenious design. No complaints whatsoever.

The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was good. The room was clean albeit older and in need of updating. However, I got in late (10:30) and had to call the hotel 3 times for the shuttle. It never came and I ended up hopping on a different shuttle whose hotel was next door. The internet was spotty. My colleagues room was very warm. Small dining was space. There are many hotels near the airport, including other Marriot properties, so I would not stay here again. They did do daily housekeeping without even asking, which most hotels don’t do anymore.

Nice hotel with great shuttle service. Drop off your car the night before you leave Seattle and they will pick you up at the airport and then they will take you to local restaurants for dinner before you fly out the next day. They make it so easy. The hotel is a little older, but has been recently redecorated. I prefer the older styles that are designed for the traveler not for the “designer” of the newer hotels. The newer hotels don’t give you space you really need, it’s all about the contemporary look. We recently stayed at a Hampton Inn in Seattle that had a terrible design. It was all about use efficient use of space. The closet door doubled as the bathroom door, and a “slider” door- terrible privacy. A few years ago, business hotels were starting to design hotels more for female travelers, but it seems they have forgotten their customers and instead, it’s all about use if space. Fairfield Inn seems to have kept the comfort of travelers in mind. Breakfast was very disappointing however. Everything was packaged - what is wrong with these hotels. They need to go to Europe, where even the budget hotels serve you fresh foods.

We arrived back from our cruise early in the AM. We asked if we can check in earlier than the normal check in time. Mikaela and Shelia G. at the front desk were very accomodating. Not only did they let us check in earlier ( before 11AM), they gave us a room upgrade. The location of this hotel is close to the light rails and they have shuttle services to the mall and airport. We will stay here again next time we are in Seattle.

Stayed here along with a bunch of other folks who were on cruises the weekend of Aug 21-22,2021 to catch a Princess cruise. The property has a shuttle from/to the airport and there are several places to eat within walking distance (if it is not raining). The rooms were reasonably sized with a large flat screen tv. The rate includes breakfast, which was adequate but not as good as some Fairfield Inns I have stayed in. A minor drawback is that the property is on a street that is parallel to the main runway, so you can hear some of the planes taking off. The hotel desk personnel were very helpful and offered us the opportunity to book a shuttle bus to the cruise terminal for $15 per person, which is a very reasonable price. For comparison, the ship to airport transfer cost us $29 per person. After the cruise we took advantage of FREE Port Valet service offered by the cruise terminal to move our luggage from the ship to SEA-TAC which saved us lugging it on the bus. I heartily recommend this service if you are taking a cruise. The bottom line: I would stay here again if taking a cruise from either Seattle cruise ship terminal.

Hi, I'm not sure if the transportation company was separate. The shuttle we were on operated for the Holiday Inn Express and Fairfield Inn which share a common parking lot. I think it may have been a service of the hotel. I can't honestly answer about a cruise shuttle. Sorry, I know this wasn't much help.
Good afternoon, we will definitely be more than half way done with our renovation by May 2019 and we should be back in our original lobby by then. However, we aren't scheduled to be fully finished with the construction project until mid to late June 2019.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or need further assistance with your reservations.
Thank You.
We walked from the Hilton to Gregory's to eat early in the mornings & also around 5 p.m. several times. Did not notice anyone who didn't look as tho' they belonged there, getting off the bus, to go to work, for example. Area kept clean and not many persons around at all. We are familiar with "bad" areas in Toledo area and this neighborhood facing the busy Blvd. APPEARS to be calm. Of course, seniors wouldn't be out after dark, walking, anyway. Hope this helps.
There are more places to choose from in the SeaTac area.
