The Days Inn By Wyndham Seatac Airport is praised for its close proximity to the airport, offering convenience to many travelers, although not all were satisfied with the location. The hotel's service receives mixed feedback, with commendations for the helpful shuttle drivers and front desk staff, but some guests experienced delays and lack of support after check-out. Opinions on the hotel's value and pricing are split, with clean rooms cited as a positive aspect. However, room quality is inconsistent, with some reporting unpleasant odors and maintenance issues. Amenities such as the basic breakfast and the shuttle service have room for improvement, according to guest feedback.

I stayed in room 206. First off, the refrigerator did not work. I did let someone at the front desk know but they said maintenance doesnt work on the weekend and there isnt anything that could be done. The rooms are old and outdated. It was hard finding an outlet that worked. I had my phone charging on the outlet behind the night stand (no outlets or USB on lamps like updated hotels) but if it moved in the slightest, it would fall out and there wouldnt be a charge. The breakfast is packaged muffins, bruised bananas, yogurt, or you can make yourself a pack of oatmeal. It was extremely noisy. Housekeeping would start about 8 am and they were down the hall and I could hear them as if they were in the room with me.

We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of a road trip. I was quite worried because lots of the reviews aren’t great, however I quite liked the hotel. Downsides first - on first look, the hotel seems a little tired and the room didn’t look amazing. However, it really is just a case of it being tired. Everything worked, the bed was comfy, there was a fridge and microwave, and the bathroom was big and clean. Plus points of the hotel - really handy free shuttle to and from the airport which was great. Free breakfast which was self service and perfectly adequate. There was cereal, toast, pre packaged muffins and pastries etc. Tea and coffee were available, as well as juice. The location was good for us, we walked to the tram stop which was about 15 mins away and then had a quick and easy ride into Seattle. The area doesn’t look great but actually I felt very safe and far preferred it to the city centre, which did not feel as safe. Overall, for the price of this hotel, I thought it was very good and would stay again if I wanted to be near the airport.

Service was friendly and beds comfortable but room was tired looking with beat up furniture and heating unit would not maintain a consistent temperature. Biggest disappointment is lukewarm low pressure shower even at 5am. Also the bathtub floor sank a few inches when standing in the tub.

This stay was one of the worst stays ever. After I had checked out, the hotel charged my credit card. I called the Days Inn by Wyndham SeaTac hotel a few times to find out what the charge was for and it was brought to my attention that the charge was due to a damage on a couple of hotel towels. The damage allegedly being makeup. During the duration of my stay, I never once saw any policies about being charged for damaged towels that have makeup on them, the policy was not up in the rooms nor in the bathrooms. When I called the hotel on Saturday June 15th to inquire about the charges, the staff I spoke with over the phone stated that the policy was placed at the front desk but I had checked in online and only stopped by the front desk to pick up my room key, this policy was never communicated to me at any point. I’ve called the hotel to get a refund and also asked for a copy of this policy but they kept making me go around hoops and there has not been any resolution as they dont seem to care at all. I’m yet to hear from the hotel manager who every time I called, was never there and has yet to respond to my email. The hotel staff also entered our room when we weren’t there and took away clean towels. We lost a few clothing items which the hotel supposedly never found after we called to ask for lost and found items. I will never stay at such a place that doesn’t respect their customers.

Hotel close to airport. Free shuttle to and from 24 hours. Breakfast included in room rate (if you’re lucky enough to be a day traveller) HOWEVER - the noise ALL NIGHT outside the hotel window was dreadful. The hotel needs to address this with whatever agency can help them.

The room was well appointed and clean. Robin Hood Pizza provided a room card paper carrier to stash your card along with their advertising their delivered pizzas. I ordered a Hawaiian Pizza and was the worst I ever had.

Probably the worst experience at a hotel that I’ve had in a really long time, if not ever. When my daughter and I left for the day, we looked for the do not disturb sign because we didn’t want room service. The sign was was missing in the room so we told the front desk we did not want room service.
When we returned for the day at 7:00 PM, room service was in the room saying ‘the room service people don’t get paid if they don’t clean our room’. I thought this was weird plus not really my concern if they get paid since I didn’t want room service. Anyways, my daughter’s wallet was missing when we went back into the room. Hopefully, the staff didn’t take it, but we didn’t put our valuables away because we asked for NO ROOM SERVICE. This on top of the fact that the room was dirty when we checked in and the overall hotel looked a little run down. I would never recommend this hotel and would go so far as to try to persuade everyone to never come here.
As an added note, the shuttle service is really terrible. We were dropped off at a train station and called when we needed picked up. We went to the place we were dropped off and waited 45 minutes. The shuttle to pick us up did not pick us up at the same place we were dropped off because apparently the shuttle service morning staff and night staff pick up and drop off at different locations.

So many Karen's writing bad reviews. This is a simple overnight hotel for travelers, That's it. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice. Close to the airport. Breakfast was simple (mini muffins, oatmeal, yogur, nutribars, juice, coffee, and cereal). It's dated and yes there are cosmetic deficiencies, but like I said, it's a simple hotel that allowed me to get some rest after flying overseas. I will add the order in food that's offered is a bit expensive. I was looking at getting a hot breakfast and I'm pretty sure it was Denny's (Ham Over My Hammy was one of the meals and Denny's is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel). The meal was $23.95. After all the fee's and what not, the total came to over $40. Needless to say I went with what the hotel offered.

We tried to book in at 4pm (check in was 2pm) but told no room was available due to only 2 of their 7 staff turning up for work. No Apology was given and we were given a room almost an hour later. Unfortunately there was used soap in the sink and a used coffee bag in the coffee machine when we did check in. Breakfast was not breakfast, just a yogurt and a cold pastry in a plastic bag. We complained and the manager gave us a $27 dollar discount for the check in delay. But since the room cost $212 dollars, it really did not appease us much. Will not be back

Room was very clean and spacious. The staff was very courteous and accommodating, especially the driver who transported us from the airport. This was our first visit to Seattle, and because we are getting on a cruise ship it is a very short one, but it will be a memorable visit because of the hotel stay.

As with any urban, busy tourist area, it is always wise to be cautious. Since you are alone, I would suggest staying in areas where there are tourists visible in the vicinity so that you are not viewed as being by yourself. Restaurants within short walking distances should be fine. Otherwise, über would be a wise choice for restaurants farther out. (NB - Seattle has a huge problem with the homeless living on the street.)
