As far as we are concerned this motel served its purpose. Starting from the assumption that Seattle was unaffordable for us in terms of prices for sleeping, we opted to stay here in SeaTac. The structure is located a short distance from both the airport, the rental car and the light rail service that takes you to Seattle in half an hour. For the two days of our stay we therefore used the Light Link Rail to get around. Sure, it's not five star; the bathroom had a slightly worn toilet and tub, but we didn't encounter any cleaning problems and overall we slept well, despite the noises (passing planes and cars). It does not have a hairdryer or other bathroom amenities, other than two small soaps. If you want to keep costs down without being too demanding, this is for you.

We asked for a room with two beds. Actually no we reserved it ahead of time. We came and they said " oh yeah sorry we are all out🤗" then they gave us a room with 1 bed instead at least we got a room. So they might switch your room up. So watch out for that

My Sister & I travelled America for a month and really needed to save some cash on hotels for petrol & food, so out of the 18 places we visited we stayed at 13 Motel 6's.
Firstly, the hotel is so easy to find - we did most of our trip using simple Google map directions and the location of this Motel 6 is ideal.
The hotel is located 3 minutes from Seattle TAC Airport, we arrived at 8pm after a long 14 hour journey (one stop off) from London Heathrow, so we were tired and suffering with the 8 hour time difference.
The hotel on arrival was average, a large car park and a motel looking exterior - whilst checking in I found the receptionist on the desk to be a little rude but being so exhausted and American/English service being different - I would only put this down to cultural difference rather than actual rudeness.
The room itself is very basic but clean, do not expect any cooking facilities or a kettle. Motel 6 is very basic, coffee is served until 10:30am from reception but that is it. They're vending machines and the such in the motel service room with a can of coke being roughly $1.
Our bathroom was a little dirty, a floor mat was hung over the bathroom door which appeared to be dripping a brown substance from it - which was still damp.
Having stayed in so many Motel 6's in the last month whilst travelling America, almost all Motel 6's are the same and Seattle wasn't at all different from many of the places we stayed however the Motel itself could do with a little updating, yet if you're on a cheap budget and only plan to sleep in the room whilst visiting - I recommend this hotel.
It's location to the airport is ideal but you must have a hire vehicle if you plan on visiting downtown or anywhere other than the small sparce strip the Motel is located on.
Also, I'd advise you to not park anywhere near the hotel entrance or exits - our hire vehicle was hit from behind during a hit and run incident during the evening, although the reception area is manned 24 hours and most Motel 6's have security on site, our vehicle was parked by a very large floor to roof window in front of the reception area yet police were not informed until the morning hours when my Sister & I actually saw the damage and shunted vehicle.
I gather reception staff will not take any responsibility for accidents or incidents and inform the police although reports of the accident were told to the staff from other hotel guests and the incident itself was apparently extremely loud.
CCTV does not watch the carpark, only the office.

This is one of the best Motel 6 locations I’ve stayed at in a long time. I’m a disabled Veteran, and have to watch my expenses. The room was clean and quiet (especially noticeable since this location is very close to SEATAC airport). The front desk person, a wonderful true gentleman nicknamed “Papa” went out of his way to ensure I had a handicapped room that had parking available right in front of it. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom, and a comfortable bed with obviously new, fluffy, clean pillows. WOW. The Internet was fast and worked without problems. The weather was cold, rainy, and damp, but there was plenty of heat.
The housekeeping staff were quiet during the morning – not the usual noise that one hears when they start changing out rooms. Surprisingly, even with it raining, someone was out cleaning up the parking lot, which explained to me why this location looked so clean and neat.
The next morning, I asked at the front desk for the location of an inexpensive (yeah, right!) long-term parking lot close to the airport. I was referred to a company that got me a parking space for less than $7.00 per day!!!
I definitely will use this Motel 6 again, whenever I fly through Seattle. The entire staff was cheerful and friendly – they made me feel truly welcome. WELL DONE!

The front staff is very friendly. I really like the lady who works in the morning. She's always really nice and has a smile on her face. They really did leave the light on for me when I went to my room. The house keeping made my room was clean and brought me fresh towels without any trouble when I needed them. I enjoy staying here because it's peaceful and I've never gotten any attitude from any staff. They are ready and willing to help with no hesitation.

Stayed one night and was supposed to stay another night a week later. I have stayed there several times in the past but has been a few years. First, they changed the policy and will no longer allow luggage to be stored in office (more and more motels preventing that now). Second, they charged me for the parking which I expected as I left my car there to take light rail. When I came back, they charged me again even though their own printout showed I had already paid. Then, they gave me a room that smelled like a tobacco factory even though I had requested no-smoking...2nd room was the same way. Finally, I got a room that was OK. I called a week later to verity the next stay there and I was put on "do not rent" list. No notification of that status was sent to me and amazingly they didn't cancel my reservation...I had to specifically ask them to do that and they better not charge me (they didn't). I asked to speak to a supervisor since no reason other than "past bad experience" was given. Bottom line...the front desk people were rude and incompetent. Oh, and lastly, I got a credit card alert I had been charged twice for the same service (parking in this case). The CC people removed the charge. I believe the front desk people didn't appreciate my mentioned the smoky rooms and also pointing out they had charged me twice for the parking. I did also call in a complaint to the national Motel 6 office about this ridiculous experience.

Motel 6 Airport – Seattle
This hotel is 2 blocks from the rental car facility at SeaTac airport. Everything was sufficient just keep in mind you are staying at a budget hotel. The laundry facility worked fine 2 washers and dryers coin op.

I don't know why I ever bothered to say in this Motel 6. They're only about 10 to $15 cheaper than much better motels. Most of them use way too much detergent in their laundry making it nearly impossible for me to breathe when I'm in the room with it. Not to mention the carpet freshener they have to use after every beer bash somebody has inside of those things. The pools almost never work and they don't have any sort of food service and off of the soda machines don't work. I'll pay the $15 more and stay at La Quinta or something of that caliber

Scary stuff! Stayed overnight because I was picking someone up from SeaTac the next morning. At 12:15 a.m. The noise started. Sounded like a domestic dispute. Called front desk. Nothing done. Noise went on until 2:00 a.m. called front desk and said I would call 911 if they didn't stop it finally settled down. Horrible stay; reported it to management and got a very weak response. Not happy. Will never stay there again

We checked in after a late night flight and the place felt very, very unsafe. You are not allowed inside the building to collect your key and have to speak to a receptionist behind a security window. We felt very uncomfortable doing so as there were people hanging around (for no apparent reason) directly outside reception, looking us up and down and checking out our luggage etc. We feared being mugged heading to the room. There is noise throughout the night and quite a lot of activity. Doors and security are flimsy. This is in theory a budget option but definitely not worth the risk. We are seasoned travellers to many places around the world, so not easily phased, but this didn’t feel safe.
