What a fun idea! Stay in a real railroad caboose. We stayed in the western themed caboose. Nicely remodeled and comfortable. The breakfast served in an authentic 1930's dining car. The food was excellent both days we were there I'd love to go back and see the other cabooses. Very unique!

My husband and I stayed at the Red Caboose this past weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I selected the Western themed caboose as I thought it looked like so much fun. When we arrived Olaf was in the office and greeted us warmly. He shared some great info about the area even tho we've been to Sequim many times....

Thanks to TripAdvisor, I found this great B&B that would enable my husband to live out a long-held dream: to sleep in a caboose, while I could live out my consistently held dream of relaxing in a jetted tub. It sounded so perfect on TripAdvisor and on the website. I went in with high expectations. They were exceeded. They were...

We had an unforgettable stay in "the Western" caboose over Labor Day weekend. Olaf welcomed us to the Getaway and made us feel right at home, offering a map of Sequim and various recommendations. The caboose was decked out in Western vibes, complete with cowboy hats and a bunch of old Western movies to choose from. The highlight for me...

What more is there to say! Our stay was simply wonderful from the start! The cars are individually themed and I know that we will be back in the near future, I will say that they do get cold at night so I recommend using the heating/cooling feature. We stayed in the Casey Jones car, which was amazing! The detail...

It's a train park! Each caboose has its own name, is unusual and interesting. They are spaced out in a semicircular fan design ensuring privacy. Half of the cars are in use; the others are being restored by Stationmaster Olaf. Olaf also doubles as the waiter in the Pullman for breakfast and prints a daily menu of offerings. Train geeks...

I rented the Casey Jones for a night during my trip to Olympic National Park. What an awesome place to stay, and far far better than any of the hotels in the area. You can tell the owners care about their property and providing the guests with a great experience. The train was super clean, the bed was super comfortable...

We made reservations two months in advance, finally having the opportunity for a stay we had been looking forward to for a couple of years. The most appropriate word I can think of for our very, very unpleasant experience is 'surreal.' A bad accident in Portland, OR, delayed our arrival by about two hours. As soon as we realized how...

An awesome place to stay! The attention to detail and the Amazing owners Olaf and Charlotte added to the experience of the railway! We enjoyed the "oriental express" with its great history, warm fire place and real flowers. The four course breakfast made with love was by far one of the best meals I have ever had!

We stayed one night in the Grape Escape caboose. It was so fun to stay in our own caboose! There is much attention to detail and you can tell a lot of thought and love went into its restoration. This caboose has a sofa bed, while nice, is very soft. Also the double bed is soft as well. Will be...
