The bride and groom chose the Montvale for their wedding guests and family. It was perfect. Charming and within walking distance to the wedding venues (Old Spaghetti Factory for rehearsal dinner) and The Barrister Winery for the ceremony and reception. The Presidential Suite was used by the wedding party to get dressed, with plenty of room. The two story atrium...

Cecilia J, Thank you for spending such a wonderful weekend as our guests! We like to think of the atrium as a "living room away from home" as it provides friends and family a communal place to relax and enjoy each others company. We hope to welcome you and your family back again soon! Thank you again for sharing this...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Didn't know what to expect booking a historical down town hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff friendly, the interior modernized but still historic, rooms very nice, multiple options for designing, and best of all quiet. Would recommend for business , couples, and perhaps families with older teens. Several strong options for meals onsite. Within walking distance to Riverfront Park,...

Cool little hotel in Spokane. Cozy rooms with very nice beds. Looks like the rooms have just been renovated. Service at the front desk is very good. 2 great restaurants beside the hotel. Walking distance to everything downtown.

We booked our hotel through AAA and it only cost us about $140/night plus taxes. They have a few parking lots you can leave your car for $10/day, which is completely reasonable and convenient. Perks of being a guest are 10% off at a variety of bars within walking distance and a continental breakfast included. The breakfast left much to...

The Montvale is a good alternative to the chain hotels in the area. The price is great. Location to The Fox, Knitting Factory and Bing Crosby theaters is perfect. I really wanted to love this hotel but it's got a few things that need to be addressed to make it a worthy competitor to the Davenport. Parking is $10/night which...

Thank you for taking the time to share this review with us! We appreciate your valuable feedback and kind words as a first-time guest! We do ask $10 per night to park in our guest parking lots (we have 3 available to choose from) however this rate is competitive in the downtown area as compared to neighboring hotels that ask...

Like another reviewer, I'm almost reluctant to review the Montvale so that it might stay our little available secret. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and our room, bed toiletries etc were first class. It's centrally located to walk to the theatre and great restaurants. On top of that, the price for the night was very reasonable. I think one...

When we arrived it wasn't terribly grand and the young man behind the desk seemed casual however he was extremely helpful. We had a theatre package and he was waiting with everything we needed. Upstairs them mezzanine is spectacular and our room was newly furnished in a manner that suited the old hotel. Our bed was wonderful. We Give the...

Upon checking in we were greeted very kindly and promptly helped. We entered our room and it definitely was more than expected, the bed was great and my sister said the pull out was perfect for her. Jetted tub, 2 TV's, frig and micro in room.

I stayed here for a night after skiing up in BC before flying out of Spokane. I was pleasantly surprised. Overall, a small hotel, like 30 rooms or there abouts. I got one of the king-deluxe rooms. There was a fridge, microwave, large bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet. I did not hear my neighbors...

I love this hotel. It's close to great beer and food plus easy access to all downtown has to offer. If you prefer small places to chains, this is a good choice. I'm normally an Air BnB'er, but the Montvale is cozy enough to sway me away from the norm. The most comfortable stay at a reasonable price in downtown...
