Where's the button for Ten stars? Six of us arrived filled with Great Expectations -- which were exceeded by a universe. We were able to get the Lakehouse (highly recommend!), with 4 bedrooms, with 8 actual separate beds (no bunkbeds), big kitchen, big dining area, big living room and Best of All, right on the water. I. Mean. Right. On....

Thank You Ron.. we are glad you had a great time here in Stehekin - 10 stars would make us blush!. We are so glad you rescheduled after the Fires of 2015. We will keep that hot tub at the Lake House ready for you to return.

I cannot express enough about this beautiful place at the end of Lake Chelan WA. It was remote being accessible by seaplane or ferry. No cell, no tv, no wifi. We loved it. Hiking is wonderful because you are close to the base of the cascade mountain range. Kayaking, fishing, and mostly lounging taking in the peaceful surroundings. The lodge...

Just got back from our second Labor Day weekend in Stehekin and of course didn't want to stay anyplace except the North Cascades Lodge. Staff: Was excited to get off the boat and see some familiar faces! Phil, Mary, and Mary Martin made it feel like we were coming home. The housekeeping staff was amazing! They were in and out...

If you really want to go somewhere that you have to take a two hour or more boat to get to, where there is a single one lane road, no traffic, no external entertainment, and you have to use either a bus that goes out and back twice a day, a bike, or walk to get anywhere, this is a...

After hiking several days on the dusty, rocky trails, the rooms at North Cascades Lodge provided a welcome level of comfort. The light pine-paneled decor complements the natural setting. The beds and linens are fresh and cozy. The standard room is quite nice, but the lakeview rooms come with a semi-private deck. The lodge staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed for two nights. Room 14 was wonderful. Second floor. Breeze on the individual balconies was great. View was fantastic. Great hiking nearby in North Cascades. Agnes Gorge is a great hike. Would go back. Lakeshore hike was also nice. The general store had beer wine and snacks. No Wifi TV or cell signal. That was wonderful too

We booked a two night stay in Stehekin. Came up on the Lady of the Lake and stayed at the lodge. What a wonderful experience. The view from our lake front room was outstanding and dinner at the lodge was delicious. We went on the Red Bus tour and saw the beautiful waterfall. Went to the bakery for lunch. It...

I have so many good things to say! I booked a fly and stay package for 2 nights that included meals at the lodge restaurant, red bus tours and kayak and canoe rentals. The staff was so friendly and helpful. My husband and I arrived early a.m. via Chelan Seaplanes. Because it was too soon to check in they offered...

I see some negative reviews and hope these folks decide to never come back as they will be an adverse influence to the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful place. We visited with another couple and kept noticing that everyone here seemed so happy. (Glad we missed that Jeff dude!) Was it the beauty of the area -- glacial lake with...

Thank you for staying with us and "getting" what makes Stehekin such a special place. "Knotty pine life" - a great phrase - perfectly describes our essence of being a simple place reminiscent of the good old days. There are not many places left that you can really indulge in relaxing. Come and escape anytime!

My partner and I recently spent 3 days here for our first visit. From the moment we walked off the ferry, the level of hospitality we received was second to none. Mary Martin, head of housekeeping, took us to room 13, a lovely corner room on the first floor of the lodge, complete with a deck for relaxing while taking...

Thank you for your kind words. We are very fortunate that our staff, especially Tom and Mary, share the specialness of Stehekin with our guests. Carl and his lovely Organic Garden is the heart and soul of Stehekin - fresh goat cheese and stunning fresh picked veggies are a special indeed. We look forward to seeing you again.
