This is a nice hotel, but I'm used to more pampering at the Hampton Inns. Bistro was very nice in the morning, a better breakfast than continental, but pricey. The location was good - lots of restaurants to visit within walking distance.

Stayed at this Courtyard while attending a conference at the nearby University of Washington Tacoma campus. The hotel looked like it had ben recently built or renovated. It featured the trademark Courtyard lobby with lobby lounge and menu; I had a convenient dinner there one evening. The rooms are standard Courtyard rooms: large, comfortable beds, plenty of work space, television... More

Thank you for the thorough and complimentary review! We love hearing about how new the hotel looks. It was remodeled 2 years ago and it's fresh look is a testament to our great housekeeping and maintenance team. The ever-expanding University of Washington campus adds to the beauty and revitalization of downtown Tacoma. Thank you for staying with us!! More

This is one of the finest Courtyards I have stayed at. The staff was gracious. The King bed was wonderful with an extra blanket in the closet - always a great touch. Fridge, coffee maker, and nice big bathroom. Great desk area for work with wired and wireless internet. Comfortable seating area. Great breakfast areas, turns into nice lounge in... More

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for the nice comments. Some of our rooms (extra-large double-queen rooms) are like mini-suites with a large sitting area -- great for small parties or families. Parking charges have changed a little and the valet service is now $17. I just don't want anyone to be disappointed if they think it... More

While there isn't a lot going on in Downtown Tacoma over the weekend (at least during our visit) we enjoyed our stay at the courtyard. Rooms are in good shape and well-maintained, staff is friendly. Lobby is good for sitting outside of the rooms, a few good restauarants nearby. Valet parking kind of steep for the area at $17/night, and... More

This is a typical Courtyard, but one of the best at which we have stayed. The rooms are good sized, and the views of the sound from top floor are nice. Room was spotless, and the bathroom spacious. There is some noise from the street, but didn't really bother us. If some noise bothers you, ask for a room facing... More

Thank you for your complements and good advice regarding areas of the hotel that would be more noise-free. Another tip for travelers is to let the hotel know your personal preferences when making a reservation (for example, avoiding noise, or being close to an elevator, or preferring high or low floors) . Or tell the Front Desk agent when you... More

The hotel was very nice and right off the downtown train. It was so convenient to walk to dinner then to take the train to the Tacoma Dome. My only concern was while checking in, they seemed a little understaffed and it did not go very quickly. Other than that, everything was great! Unfortunately we did not wake in time... More

This hotel is clean and located in a quiet area in Tacoma. There is easy access to freeways and the people here are very friendly! I will definitely stay there again. Katie checked me out of the hotel and was pleasant and helpful. There is an onsite bar/bistro that guests can enjoy in a comfortable lounge atmosphere.

The hotel itself is very nice. Every thing and been recently updated. It is all very clean and fresh. Not that there is a downside but.... no onsite parking. Offsite parking is a half block away but that is not very far. Would stay at again.
