Nice RV Park, beautiful views from the sites on the river side. Nice clean, big bathrooms and great area for dogs. Great location to Hood River and wineries. HOWEVER, the trains are LOUD. Pack your earplugs!

A tidy and well organized RV park. The areas are well-lit and clearly numbered. I appreciated the owners calling us the evening of our reservation to make sure we were coming. The shower costs so take quarters! Trains are frequent and close as well as the highway but if you have hiked enough waterfall trails you won't notice! LOL

Very well maintained but small RV park. Facilities and staff were great. Definitely need to make a reservation for the limited spaces available. The bridge from the Oregon side to cross the Columbia River is not for the faint at heart. We drive a 36 foot class A RV and there are only inches to spare to not hit the...

Very well kept with paved sites and grass lawns. Very cramped. On the south just twenty yards from the property are train tracks run trains all hours of the day, on the west is the bridge that is one of the main roads into Hood River and on the north is Hwy 14 that connect the north with the south....

stayed here 1 night in August of 2016 while travelling across country on my motorcycle. This place is extremely clean with wonderful staff. I tented here for the night. The tent area is off in the corner on a treed lot. The tent area is close to the train tracks.. No complaints from me as I like the sound of...

Nice clean rv park, all drives and parking sites paved, lush green grass and shrubbery between sites.I read also about the trains, heard them, but barely inside the mh. Same for highway noise, didn't bother us. A word of caution, re the BRIDGE, the lanes are 9' 4", our mh's are 8' or 8'6", but the mirrors are wider than...

A bit off the beaten path but well worth the stop. Place is big rig friendly and immaculately kept. Located at north side of Hood river bridge but you don't want to use this bridge to cross in big rig. Cross at either the Dalles or Cascade Locks bridge (toll 5$) and use Washington highway 14 to the park. Great...

The tent area is literally against the fence that borders the train tracks. While I understand that the Columbia Valley will always have some proximity to trains, this was ridiculous. The noise and rumbling trains were terrible all night long. This location might be more acceptable for an RV, but not for tent camping. Would been better to stay further...

Most campgrounds that are along the Columbia River close to Hood River have trains running right next to or even through their properties. This is the trade-off for having quick access to the river for watersports or local events. For a truly rustic tent camping experience head to the many state and national forest campgrounds that surround us. Just factor...

If you are a frequent RVer or camper you know that you cannot avoid trains when staying near a coastline or lake. We're used to it & like listening for them! The space we had was on an end which gave us lots of privacy & awesome view of the Columbia River! Trail down to the river where you can...

We actually tent camped here for a few nights. Nothing fancy, the tent area is somewhat communal, but the grounds are impeccably maintained and the bathrooms and showers are spotless. There is a laundry room, again, spotless. The only drawback to this location are the trains that run past all day and night. It wasn't too bad with ear plugs....
