My husband and I have been coming here at least twice a year for years. The valley setting, next to a river, is beautiful and peaceful. In summer you can hike or relax next to the river. In winter, the cross country ski trail runs right through it. The Methow Indians considered this a healing place, and it still carries...

Our stay started off on a bad note, we arrived later in evening on Sat. 9-14-2013 and went to office to check in and get our key and there was no one around, lights off ,doors locked. I tried several numbers on my receipt and no one answered. I finally got a number from someone to the grounds keeper (after...

We apologize for the inconvenience with the check in process. Our office had moved just prior to your time of stay. We have improved our signage that points to the check in location to help our guests pick up their keys without any confusion and we have added phone numbers for on site managers to our check in process. The skiing and mountains were beautiful! The cabin is on the Methow Valley ski trail and the Methow river. It was peaceful and quite and the stars were spectacular at night. My family has visited and stayed in cabin #29&#30 (now called Quail Cabin and Quail Studio) for several years. We tried to find the cabin on the old website...

Located about 5 miles north of Winthrop right on the Methow Valley ski trail -- hilly trail to the north and flat trail to the south. Easy drive to other starting points for skiing. We skied directly from the cabin the first day, and went to Mazama and Sun Mountain on other days. We had two families combining a downstairs...

This resort is not a good value by any stretch of the imagination. Here's our list: The place was dirty. Shower curtains were old and moldy. We found mouse nests by the kitchen cabinets. If you're thinking about cooking, bring your own cook ware. There was one frying pan that was one inch deep and could maybe fit one egg....

Our experience was not the relaxing trip that we had planned. The rooms are not clean, the kids beds were caved in the middle and smelled like urine,( the pillows also had a strange odor), the adult bed was hard and felt like it was falling apart. The appliances did not work, and were disgusting, along with the over all...

We booked a night's lodging at WRR on spec, based on this site's reviews. One second after entering our lodging, we were trying to think of ways we could stay longer (alas, we couldn't so so.) We were upgraded several levels, but that alone isn't why we were so pleased with our stay there. It's close enough to Winthrop for...

This is a casual you-do-the-housekeeping resort with log-cabin buildings and furniture. We booked a deluxe studio and were upgraded to a delightful one-bedroom unit which had a complete kitchen, a large living area, a bedroom, and a big front porch with a tranquil view of a birch wood forest. We didn't use the facilities, but they include a swimming pool...

Wolf Ridge Resort is a very special place, and the perfect getaway. The website photos of the property are all lovely, and I found that the property is much bigger and the accommodations much more spacious than I had even imagined from the photos. The property is unique in that it offers both tranquility, yet a perfect setup for large...

“get an upper floor if you're a couple, there were kids next door and below - it wasn't a problem but I suppose it could be noisy if your stay is long and you don't want to hear kids running around next door or above.”

“All are the same - lower floor with kitchen and living area that has a futon along with a bedroom with a queen and a single bed. Outside has a nice deck. Upstairs, if you rent it, has another room, and bathroom that has a queen and single bed. All have fans for when it is hot, but even with heat, these log cabins were great. Photos on the website are very true to reality”
