Had a great stay for 3 nights. Front desk staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. We wanted to grill on Sunday, but the grill was broken. Manager purchased a new one for us, set it up and had it ready in time for us to cook out! I mean wow, what service! We had 2 rooms, and both were EXTREMELY clean and fresh. I'd like to mention 2 of the housekeeping staff by name... Lisa and McKenzie. These two ladies did an absolutely fantastic job with our rooms. Very nice, professional and detail oriented. HIGHLY recommend this hotel!
After driving a car and 10' moving van hundreds of miles in the rain, we stopped at midnight to get some rest; we should have kept going. Parking was a problem; there aren't enough spaces and the lot is extremely poorly lit with no security cameras. The room was worse. The lobby was dingy and the breakfast area was less than appealing. When we opened the door it smells faintly of smoke and mold. The room was tiny and two beds were jammed in (one almost in the bathroom). The single chair in the room was filthy, their were toenail clippings on the rug, the room hadn't been dusted ever, and there was mold throughout the shower (see photos). Bedding was okay and were exhausted so we slept a few hours and got our of there as soon as possible.
Motel was good for price paid. Parking is always an issue here. There are several good restaurants near and easy access to highway 79. Checking in was unusually slow but not uncommon here. Rooms were clean and staff accommodating, breakfast was typical motel food.
This is a disgusting hotel just keeping it blunt never again 0 stars .... room had stink bugs all over the place non smoking room was obviously one and didn’t smell like cigarettes either tobacco all over the bathroom sink the room was super small for a king the shower looked like it was made for a boat and did i mention never again!
We stayed here on the night of Friday, August 9th, on our way to Pennsylvania from North Carolina. We had been on the road for awhile, and were looking for a comfortable room and a good night's sleep, with a decent continental breakfast the next morning. This place provided that. The stay was, overall, a positive experience. The 2 negatives that I will mention, are the bathroom door and the parking lot. In our room (#125), the bottom part of the bathroom door (on the inside of the bathroom) is in need of cleaning/painting. It was filthy. Not sure how it has gone that long without being noticed and given proper attention. The other negative, is the parking lot. It is need of attention, as well. There are numerous ruts, and a lot of dirt/mud washed into it. In fact, we came out the next morning to discover that my wife had parked our vehicle in a space, and the driver's side was directly in a muddy area. Now the main positive about this room, is that they have some of the most comfortable bedding that I've ever seen in a motel. The twin beds were small, but nice, and the comforter and the sheets were VERY soft to sleep in. It was easy to relax and fall asleep quickly. For that reason alone, I would stay here again. I have been to some motels that have uncomfortable beds, but this one excels in that area. So, I would highly recommend this place, and will likely stay here again at some point.…
