We held a two day meeting at the Charleston Marriott Town Center. The staff had the room prepared ahead of schedule. The food was plentiful and exceptionally good. Frequently during the meeting, a room attendant checked in to ask if anything was needed. Our guest rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is excellent for a walk along the river...

From the moment we arrived, the staff was doing everything possible to make our stay great. We got there at 9am for a meeting and didn't expect to get into our rooms until the afternoon, but we were given our rooms right on the spot! Who does that? Marriott Town Center apparently. Our room was nicely furnished with comfortable bedding...

A large hotel that seems to do significant conference business. Easy to find and good downtown location. Macy’s is across the street. Check in was quick and cordial. Room was clean, modern, and had a coffee maker. Lobby restaurant run well with unusually friendly hostesses and waitstaff, or maybe we’re not used to Southern hospitality since we live in the...

Everyone was nice and so was the location. Just cross the street to the mall. The hotel is clean and comfortable and rooms are quiet. Very nice. The employees are very nice and that is a definite help when traveling and when you are very tired. I really enjoy this Marriott. It was just a nice visit

I recently stayed at the Charleston Marriott Town Center Hotel in Charleston, WV. This was my first time in Charleston, VW. I would definitely say that this is the best place to stay for either business or pleasure if you are in the Charleston area. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown. There are many restaurants in the...

Excellent stay with our soccer teams from Maine. The staff was extremely accommodating, and very friendly. They allowed our group to use the rooftop deck and room for dinners and put a TV there for everyone to watch World Cup together. There was a mall across the street and many restaurants within walking distance. They had a reasonably priced breakfast...

Typical of Marriott hotels the room was predictably clean, nice King bed, a comfortable reading chair with ottoman, desk, plenty of outlets , and toiletries for customers. This Marriott Town Center is situated across the street from the Civic Center so good for business travelers. Not so much for pleasure travelers, simply because of location. Not near enough to walk...

The room and the lobby/bar areas are attractive and its location is a convenient drive to most attractions. It is across the street from the convention center and a shopping mall. Even though Marriott Rewards members are supposed to get free wifi, and TripAdvisor advertises it, the clerk said I'd have to pay $9.95 to have it in my room....

Hello and thank you for providing information regarding your stay at our hotel. You are correct! WiFi is complimentary to all Marriott Rewards members. You do have to access the system and accept the charge to utilize, however there is no charge for the WiFi as MR member as this is a system process. If this was not the case,...

My wife and I stopped here on the way from DC to West Virginia for one night. The price was reasonable. The hotel was great. The breakfast was off the hook. We stay here on our way from OH to SC and are always happy with the service we receive. The rooms are clean, staff is helpful and it's a really convenient location for easy on and off the highway access. Great restaurants and shops nearby too. We love Pies and Pints and the cute little bookstore next door to that....
