Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of life? Then there is no better place to visit than Thatch Caye. A small boat will take you 9 miles from the shores of Belize, where you will be greeted at the dock of a small island by the resort’s staff and friendly dog Dewey. After

Stayed in one of the overwater bungalow's-although the water temperature of the shower was a bit finicky (we dubbed it the adventure shower, lol), being able to wake each morning and watch the sunrise through the panoramic windows (which we left open each night) was truly

Beautiful, relaxing, terrific staff. Activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking, visiting other islands, snorkeling, diving etc. readily available. We met wonderful other guests during our four day stay.

Yes, you can. It took us about 30 minutes to get to Dangriga. It also depends on how choppy the sea is at that time. It took us about 40 min to get to Thatch Caye from Dangriga, but only 25 to get back to Dangriga.

Morning Ngamtn, Dangriga has no tourism set up, so there is not much to see if you want to go back. But we promise you we have so many activities you will not even be worrying about cabin fever.

Thank you Dennis for your question. Tourism isn't set up around this year, but you can kayak around to see the beauty of Belize. The island style all-inclusive does include the local beer, wine, and liquor. If you have any other question, please call 800-435-3145. Thank you.

Hi Alexandra, thank you for your question. At this time we do not have access to the water directly from the bungalows. There are multiple areas to access the water all around the island. Please reach out to use if you have any other questions about the island. #800-435-3145.
