First time visiting 5 rivers campground. Great camp sites. Very reasonable rates, especially for a full hook-up. Peaceful and relaxing environment. Owners John and Joyce are good people and very accommodating. Cant wait to go back for Pickin in Parsons!

We took our beagle and a senior puppy and spent one night on July 2 as we were unable to find a camp site near Thomas/David. What a hidden gem Five River is! Joyce, the manager, is extremely helpful and kind. She helped us find a site that suits our needs and recommended places to visit. The whole campground was...

We had never seen or heard of the 5 River Campground, even though we visit the area a couple times a year. The owners were very accommodating and friendly! We tent camped with electric. There are also full hookups (electric, water, sewer) as well as just basic tent sites. The showers and bathrooms are clean and efficient. We kayaked straight...

The campground is a beautiful spot on the river. It is clean, quiet and pleasant. There isn't any noise or boisterous behavior. The bathroom and shower areas are clean. Access to the river is unimpeded. Great place for kids.

If you're camping along the Mountain Music Trail, please stop here. It is a gorgeous spot along a river with plenty of room. The host, Joyce Bowers, is the most laid back and accommodating host you can ever meet. It's a beautiful spot.

We wanted a dog friendly place. We called and they said they were "dog friendly to friendly dogs." As long as your dog is not a nuisance you can let them off leash. Our dogs LOVED it! They have a ton of land along the river and the dogs ran on the grass all day and were in and out...

Joyce was a great help from the time we arrived, recommending the best tent camp spot on the river, to stopping by daily to see if we needed more firewood or anything else. Many campers come for months at a time or the entire summer - everyone very friendly. Good family campground!

My wife and I attended the Pickin In Parsons Bluegrass Festival at Five Rivers Campground in Sept/Aug of 2014. We were just a bit apprehensive entering the campground via the junkyard, but those fears were soon allayed by the casual friendliness of the ticket attendants and the young gentleman who escorted our camper to its parking spot in meadow. Our...

I attend a bluegrass festival at this campground. The owners do a wonderful job!! As for the camping...nice...I know how to plan ahead. The town will provide you with all you need. Remember you are in the area for the outdoors, not shopping and restaurants.

The good: --The campground is right next to a peaceful river. It's also within easy jogging/biking distance of a great bike trail. --It was quiet at night...although constant rain might have had something to do with that. --The owner was friendly, and so were some other campers we met. --It seems you can get a campsite here most anytime. --There's...

Thank you for your honest review of Five River Campground. We have built a new shower facility. It is kept clean and well stocked. It has a shower, commode, and sink with a lockable door on each restroom. We have purchased city maintenance building next door. Part of it has been torn down and what is left has been cleaned...
