We camped at this park 27 years ago & had fond memories of going down the tram to the Bluestone Gorge (even though the hotel/restaurant wasn't open at that time) & discovering the beauty of the park. Park has a hotel, cabins, campground & a lake with boat rentals & other amenities. BUT, you have to walk through the woods...

For the past 12 years I have been using this resort as my stopping point on the way to Myrtle Beach in April and October. I would usually arrive at 1pm., get my room and play 18 holes before eating and sleeping. I would then get up and head to Cheraw SC, Santee SC or Myrtle Beach SC. Though it...

Love! Love! Love! Room was very clean and comfortable. Indoor pool was awesome! Huge! Food was delicious! Walked every morning on the golf course. Wildlife everywhere. Staff very friendly and helpful. 5 star in my book!

Good place to stay, awesome outdoor activities. Hiking, biking, and golf, as well as horse back riding. Gondola rides to a great hike and bike, cabins and lodging are above par. Can't say enough this has it all for a state park.

My husband and I stayed at McKeever Lodge at Pipestem Resort State Park while he was attending a conference. Originally, the group was to have had rooms without a mountain view, but since it was the off-season, we got to stay in a lovely room with amazing mountain views. Our room was on the small side, but very clean. The...

Stayed 2 nights with another couple at one of the cabins at Pipestem Park. The cabin was clean and well equipped. Check in at the lodge main desk fast and friendly. The park is relaxing and cabins are spaced apart. Would stay again.

First of all if trip advisor phone app says no availability, call and make sure. The app said full up and we called and they had vacancies. That being said this is a hotel with beautiful views. We were asked if we wanted to pay $10 more for a view and we were sure glad we did. Absolutely beautiful. As...

Ride horses, take walks, or simply sit and watch wildlife. More than enough to do. If you book, make sure you know which of the hotels you are booked in. The website isn't clear about that. There the main hotel at the top of the mountain, then a tram can take you down to the valley if you don't want...

We stayed overnight in early January 2017 and could not have been happier. Even though there had been a snowfall, the road from Rt. 20 to the Lodge had been cleared and we had no difficulty getting there. The people were very friendly and helpful. When we looked out our window, we had a fantastic view of the gorge and...

We stayed at McKeever lodge, RM 211, from Fri to Mon. This was a trip to visit family and to attend the parks annual NYE party. We checked in late on Fri after it had snowed the night before. The parking lot was not cleaned and was incredibly difficult to walk in. The room is your standard room with an...
