Stayed at Rimfire in 2014 and 2015. Booked through Snow Shoe both times. Wanted a balcony and got a ground floor patio right by the hot tub the first time (great if you want to see people trying to have sex once it closes). Second time got a room facing the village which was great. You can walk out on...

My wife and I do not ski. My granddaughter last skied ~20 years ago. The Grandsons, 8 & 10 from Florida never saw snow in person. We all had a great time for our 2 night stay. Snowshoe is a 4 hr drive from our home and the last 2 hrs have few people and saw no fast food. You...

My friends and I traveled to Snowshoe for New Years Eve with the most basic room available at the Rimfire lodge. The room was clean, very comfortable bed, and very basic. The bathroom seemed almost as large as the sleeping portion of the room, and there is an individual hot water tank so hot water was never an issue (water...

I loved the Rimfire Lodge. The full kitchen came in handy with my two teenage boys. (As did the separate bedroom). They slept on the queen pullout and did so very comfortably. Love the fireplace and the balcony overlooking the Village. You couldn't ask for a better location. We just loved our stay.

This is our favorite place to stay at Snowshoe, and right in the heart of all the action. This is one of the few properties that has its own parking garage and is the most centrally located. The rooms are decent and the best units are the two bedroom deluxe.

Stayed at rimfire lodge and it is nice. Just be careful when booking particularly with couples. I mistakenly booked a room that had two single beds. That was a little odd. First time ever saw two single beds in a room. I had to upgrade to a suite but front desk personnel was very pleasant to work with.Lodge rooms are...

The weather has not been very good for skiing this year but Snowshoe has done an excellent job adapting. During our trip we were fortunate to have a couple of days of new snow and the resort worked hard grooming the slopes at night. Lift lines got long by Friday afternoon and our only complaint was that the Ballhooter lift...

One night here before my "real" condo was ready. It's dark and it stinks. The hallways are creepy, weirdly lit, and remind you of an asylum. The stove was broken, fireplace didn't work without Maintence coming. Toilet clogged. Carpet feels oily and gross. Did I mention it stunk? Like body odor and garlic sauce. Parking garage is awful. Never again....

Had a great time at this hotel. It was very clean and offered nice ammenities. Our room was well appointed and affordable. The TV was pretty old though. Location is awesome old spruce tavern right outside Starbucks ks in the building. It is t technically ski out but your about a 200 ft walk to the top off ballhooter lift....

Love to walk 50 yards to restaurants and 100 yards to the slope. Didn't like the noise. Very clean, very friendly people, excellent parking. Kitchen wasn't very well stocked with pots and pans. Heating system was odd - seemed to be cooling things off most of the time. One bedroom plus pullout sofa would not be comfortable for more than...

“For people-watching request a room in the North Tower, Village View, with a balcony. For sunsets (if it's not foggy) and what I assume would be a quieter room, request mountain view.”
