Stayed for three nights as a couple in a camper van, really convenient for Abersoch (25 min easy stroll) and Llanbedrog but nice and quiet. Lots of families staying with children as it was summer holidays but everyone friendly and considerate (no children outside playing until 8am - thank you!!). Really friendly owners, one day we arrived back at the...

Stayed as a group of 4, actually had the six bed room. Compact but worked fine, beds were comfortable and all bedlinen was provided, which is great as it saves cluttering up the car with sleeping bags. The kitchen area was basic but functional. A dual electric ring and a combination microwave / grill / oven device, so no problem...

we booked out the whole bunk house as we had a group of 14. The facilities are basic as is often the case with bunkhouses and the living/kitchen area is nowhere near large enough for everyone. The toilets are shared with the campsite and if you have children in one of the rooms this doesn't feel safe. Also people from...

3 of us are in the process of walking the wales coastal path and last week we did the Aberdaron to Abersoch section. We spent two very comfortable nights at Tanrallt bunkhouse in Llangian . The heating was on for as and there was plenty of hot water for showers and a warm welcome from the owner As the weather...

Arrived late on Friday evening for 2 nights camping, just me and my son. A lovely quiet site in beautiful surroundings. Hot Showers and toilets basic but clean. Very warm and hospitable hosts who were kind and thoughtful. (Thanks for the 3rd place world cup play off) Close to Hell's mouth for surfing and also handy for Abersoch ( resplendent...

Purpose built bunk house in a great location close to beaches, walking routes, and a town with ample amenities and in easy driving distance of much more. Great value considering breakfast (as stated) was provided. We felt that the 'fully equipped kitchen' was lacking in facilities (no full size oven) for cooking for our group of 12 though, fortunatley the...

Abersoch hotels and guest houses are very expensive, and at first glance it looks like the only budget option is to camp. However, there's a great little bunkhouse at the Tanrallt campsite, less than two miles inland in the village of Llangian. I phoned a few hours before arriving, and found that I had the entire place to myself! I...

We stayed self catering at Bryn Gwynt. There were 4 of us but it would have slept 8 comfortably. The bungalow had been fitted and furnished to a high standard. We appreciated the underfloor heating even though the weather was good. The lounge was spacious with ample comfy chairs and sofas and amazing views over Abersoch and across Cardigan Bay....

I have stayed here on a number of occasions and have ALWAYS found the owners warm and friendly. The location is perfect for us and we couldn't ask for more. I have stayed here with up to 13 friends on climbing trips on a regular basis and we use the bunkhouse. It is always warm and clean and tidy with...

I have stayed here many, many times with my family and in single sex groups. It is not a 5 star hotel - but then if that's what I wanted I'd book one. The location is brilliant, the owner is fantastic and it's a great place to hang out and use as a base for whatever is your thing............
