The Premier Inn Norwich East (Broadlands/A47) Hotel comes highly recommended for its cleanliness, with guests frequently applauding the spotless rooms and bathrooms. While opinions on value vary, with some guests finding the meal deals and room quality satisfactory, others have raised concerns about additional costs. Service is generally well-regarded for being friendly and attentive, though not without the occasional hiccup.
The hotel offers a comfortable and cozy atmosphere, but reviews suggest that some of the rooms may have issues such as size, smells, or outdated facilities. Amenities are appreciated, yet there are mixed responses regarding Wi-Fi and breakfast. The location is popular among travelers for its convenience to dining and city centers.

Hotel's Favourite
We love to stay in Premier Inn's and this is our favourite. The location is perfect for visiting many attractions and one can catch a bus from outside the Inn to go into the city of Norwich where there are so many things to do .
We just stayed for a few days this visit but the staff are always helpful especially Sherrie who is very friendly, professional and will book us into our preferred room if it is available. Nothing is too much trouble for Sherrie. We like to pay the extra money and get into our room early if we can - again Sherrie helps with this where possible.
Sherrie always remembers that I like to have an iron and ironing board in our room and also a heater ( unless we are having a heatwave ) - I feel the cold more than most !! The room was as always spotless with the choice of extra pillows - thank you to Niki and the Housekeeping team who really are exceptional and always so friendly and helpful if one meets them in the corridors. Niki is an excellent housekeeper.
It really is the little things that make our stays here so pleasurable and why we keep coming back.
We find it very useful to have the Brewers Fayre next door to the Premier Inn - with a walkway directly into the restaurant so that there is no need to go outside if you don't want / need to.
A great stay with fantastic staff.

We only stayed one night in February for a football match at Carrow Road about three miles away. It was typical of Premier Inn accommodation, clean, functional and cheaper than their hotels in Norwich city centre..
There was a large free car park, we had no trouble parking and having checked in on-line, were given our key card without any other formalities. There is a park and ride and also local bus stop nearby so you could use either for the city centre but only up to late afternoon.
We did not use the restaurant that evening, but did have a quick drink after the evening game, the bar closed at 11pm. We decided to use the Fieldfare Hungry Horse across the road for breakfast as it was half the price of the attached Brewers Fayre (eat all you can breakfast). It was quite adequate for our needs.
The hotel was good value although on this occasion I did not sleep well as l found the both of the pillows uncomfortable. I would give it a 3.5 rating if that was possible.

We have stayed here many times, and this is just as comfortable and clean as ever. The Receptionist gave an excellent welcome, and Check-In was quick and straightforward. The room (34) on the first floor was clean and comfortable, and being a Friday night it was very quiet and peaceful. The room was one of the (fairly) recently refurbished rooms.
We ate in the adjoining Brewers Fayre (Broadland View), and - as this was before 6 p.m. - we chose the special Menu. This was excellent value and quality, and this will be reviewed separately.

We stayed at this Premier Inn based on its location as we were visiting family in Norfolk and we also made the most of the sightseeing and activities avaliable nearby.
Our room was a family room for 3 people, which was ok, though there were only 2 cups and 2 glasses available for 3 of us
There was no air con in the room, we were aware of this as I had been notified by email, (we had actually brought our own fan with us to use) but there was a fan already there the room.
The bathroom decor was shabby and poorly finished. There was mould on the grout on a lot of the shower tiles. The toilet roll was in a unit on the wall next to the toilet but weirdly placed quite low on the wall (ok I suppose if you are 5 years old or are small) The extractor fan was loud and completely useless. The bathroom could do with a complete overhaul, update and refirb.
Breakfast was ok, not a huge amount of choice but it was adequate.
Didn't get a chance to try the evening menu as on our first day we arrived back at the hotel at 9.50 wanting a bite to eat as we had been out sightseeing (but then got caught in traffic and had to find a different way back as a road had been closed). We asked at the bar if we could get something to eat, the barman said he would have to ask the manager as the chef finished at 10pm, the manager then came over and said no, the latest time to order food was 9.45 ( even though we were staying there)
I asked him if there was somewhere else nearby that we could go to get some food or if he could recommend somewhere local on Just Eat so that we could get a delivery, again he wasn't very helpful.
We ended up driving to a petrol station to get a sandwich, which when you want proper food isn't great.
The other 2 nights we decided to eat elsewhere.
We stay in Premier Inn's quite a lot and this one is the worst one that we have stayed at.

Parking on site, check in easy, room clean and airy, but only 2 teabags for two people - seems a bit stingey for a ‘premier inn’, teabags are not Thant expensive when bought in bulk which I’m sure premier do.
We would have liked to have a cuppa in evening and morning without having to make a trip to reception to ask for more. Would have given full marks otherwise.

With the two companies being part of the same group it is difficult to know if this review should be about the hotel or the standalone restaurant as one package.
The hotel is fine, everything you expect from the Premier Inn brand, decent room size, helpful staff and good showers etc. We stay with them because we know what we will get and it's a price we can afford.
We were very disappointed with the attached restaurant where breakfast was served each morning and initially we had booked the first and last night's meals. My pet hates in restaurants are dirty cutlery and crockery and other people arriving after us but being served before. This restaurant had both so we cancelled the second evening meal.
It was a buffet style breakfast but several of the plates and bowls still had food debris but were out for next guest to use. Oftentimes restaurant staff are too willing to accept that just because something has been through a dishwasher, it must be clean. Just a quick glance at each plate before sending it back out would sole the issue.

we had guests in our house and just needed somewhere cheap to sleep for one night. This hotel was perfect for us. There is a pub next door and a coffee shop across the road. Large free car park. Booking in was Covid compliant and the receptionist was helpful and friendly. The room was large, clean and although there was no air con there was a large floor fan. We slept well and check out just had a key drop box. The hotel was sold out the night we were there but we heard no noise from any other guests and left refreshed.

Booked a room here as we were attending a party in Norwich. I wouldn't normally have booked a Premier Inn after a not so nice time at the Bideford one a few years ago but other members of our family had booked rooms already. Was a little bit worried but it couldn't have been more different from our last experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful in the hotel and the food in the restaurant was very good. Both hotel and restaurant was very clean and nothing was too much trouble. The only thing we feel could be improved is when hiring out a family room maybe the younger members of the family could be catered for in the rooms. Eldest child drank tea for which we only needed an extra cup but youngest won't drink hot drinks so we had to go to the restaurant just for his drink. A small carton of juice would have been very welcome on arrival

We stayed for two nights. It is situated on the Broadlands Business Park and unlike many Premier Inns does not have its own restaurant but the Brewers Fayre is in the same building and accessible from the inside. We had a clean, well-sized room with heating & AC plus a fan. There was a sofa and desk, hair dryer, flat screen TV and plenty of sockets to charge devices. The bathroom has a shower and bath and have soap dispensers so none of those small plastic bottles. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was good adherence to Covid requirements. The restaurant had Santa and things set up for children. The menu had vegetarian, vegan choices and the staff were very careful to ask about allergies when you entered. The only things which would have improved the room would have been a safe and a fridge. The free wifi was fine for most browsing.

I stayed here for one night Sunday, me and my partner wanted to take a nap in the evening but it seemed there were some people upstairs doing what sounded like circuit training. Loud thumping for almost an hour. We went downstairs and I explained to the receptionist what happened and she immediately apologised and upgraded me to another room on the top floor. The next day we decided we wanted to stay another night but I did not want to walk around with my baggage. The staff were very accommodating and let us check in hours earlier. All three rooms in 24 hours were of a very high standard and so were the staff at how they treat their customers. Will come again

I am not sure 100%, but I remember I have notice something like a bus station near roundabout, close to hotel.
There is a park and ride service just a 10 min walk or 2 min drive away. It's called the Postwick park and ride.
hi
we do have wheelchair access rooms but not with wet rooms. Low bath and shower with plenty of hand rails.
