The Blacksmith Inn without question has to be one of the nicest B&B’s in Door County. The second you walk up to the door, you know this B&B has charm. This was our second time staying there and it was just as good as the first. The staff is friendly but not over the top. I believe that they like... More

Very much enjoyed our stay at the Blacksmith Inn. The common area is setup very nice. Enjoyed the coziness of the room overlooking the water. The room decor was very period like. Staff were very kind and accommodating.

Our children gave us a gift certificate to stay here. We were so thrilled by the place! We had a lovely room overlooking Lake Michigan. We went in October so it was chilly but the inn was very nice. A simple breakfast is included, and there are always homemade cookies in the eating area. Highly recommend a stay here!

We've been home for 3 weeks now and we're still raving about our stay here. Whirlpool tub in the room, gas fireplaces, hammock on your own private porch, comfortable beds, endless oatmeal cherry cookies, hot cider, and impeccable service. We would recommend this Inn to anyone and everyone. Don't miss this incredible inn and all of it's amenities. They even... More

Have now stayed here a few times. Each time has been as good as the last. This Inn was again clean, quiet and up to date. This Inn is for adults only, nothing loud or rowdy. Private balconies, hot tubs, each room is decorated nicely. Beds, pillows are super comfortable. Muffins, granola, juice and more for breakfast. Take time to... More

This is a very nice B&B with views of the bay (we stayed in the Zahn House). It is a historic home that is decorated for the period. We enjoyed the balcony, fireplace, & comfortable bed. This side of the peninsula is much quieter and works well as a home base for the area.

We stayed at Blacksmith Inn for our mini-moon Sept 12-15 and had a great time. Our room was number 6 in the main house - we chose this because it was on the top floor and had a private hammock looking out over the lake. It was a truly comfortable room! My 6' 2" husband did bonk his noggin on... More

The Blacksmith Inn is the best place to stay in Door County Wisconsin. There are two home that have the most beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms we have ever stayed in. Most have fireplaces, comfy quilts and balconies with hammocks and chairs. The walk out to the dock ends in a lovely vista of Lake Michigan. The property is close... More

Very nice place on the water in Door County, but in a much quieter town than some of the county's other areas like Sister Bay (which is fun to go to and only 15-20 minutes away). Rooms are charming yet up to date and clean, the beds comfortable, the oat\meal/cherry cookie jar in the charming lobby added 5 pounds by... More

I stayed at the Blacksmith Inn for 3 nights (09/25 - 09/27/16) as an alone getaway to relax, and found the Inn very clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. I've stayed at other historical Inn's in Door County, and found the Blacksmith Inn to be cleaner, more attention having been paid to guest details, a nice comfortable bed, and... More
