I favor small businesses such as mom-n-pop motels, and this is my favorite. I have stayed at WilloWood Inn numerous times. Each room is decorated in a different theme, all reflecting styles of the 1950's & 1960's (the era when the place was built). Although the buildings are older, everything is updated and maintained--so you get the retro charm without...

Just returned from a vacation to Baraboo. Willowood Inn was wonderful - cozy, clean rooms, friendly owner and a great vintage lobby to relax in. Very close to Devil's Lake and with plenty to do in Baraboo. Close to the Dells as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The good: -Very cute and adorable inn. Affordable, charming, and friendly. I fell in love when I opened the door to our room. It was perfectly decorated and very clean! It was cold outside, the room was heated nicely and, overall, we expected a very pleasant stay at the inn. We were going to get a movie (they have a...

I am the owner of WilloWood Inn and was very unhappy with the news that 2 bugs were found in one of my units! I regret that this guest had to deal with this issue at my Inn, but I VERY MUCH appreciate that he informed us of the situation. I am very aware of the threat of traveling bedbugs...

This is a cozy treasure just a mile from the entrance to Devil's Lake State Park. There is a big back yard with a fire pit and a playground with a sandbox for the children. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Refrigerators in the rooms but you can go to the office to use the microwave.

We stayed here for two nights while enjoying the Baraboo area and could not have been more comfortable. The inn provides an atmosphere of family, quaintness, charm, coziness, fun, and quiet. The rooms are themed and we stayed in the lighthouse queen room. It was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a refrigerator and microwave in...

The employees/ owners are a hoot. Stayed in unit #10. Even at full capacity, it was very quiet. They have paths around the grounds in the back. Very nice. Plan on booking it again for next year. Just 2 miles from Devil's Lake State Park.

The Willowood Inn is family-run, charming, quiet and comfortable. You can build a campfire or a puzzle or grill your burgers while enjoying the birds and trickling stream. The cute rooms are unique with creative decoration, and offer microwaves and refrigerators. No cable tv, and the WiFi can be a little slow, but you're less than a mile from Devil's...

I started staying at the inn in my 50's after deciding that camping was something I could give up. The current owners upgraded the property to its pristine condition. Each room is charming and has its own theme. Grounds and room are kept immaculate. A gathering area is in the back where the owners light a campfire and visitors relax,...

This place was charming cozy and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a kitchenette and I am not certain if all the rooms had it. I would definitely inquire in regards to that if that is something that you're looking for. We will definitely be staying here again. 👍
