Everyone who works at this resort is extremely nice! From Bud at the front desk to wolfman the security guard we always felt welcome and surrounded by kind people. This resort is as most reviews say, outdated! But its really a diamond in the rough. Let me say this, we had tons of hot water in the shower.....all the pools...

We recently visited this resort for a conference. It was wonderful. The food was great, the hospitality was wonderful, and the staff was friendly. The manager Randy made sure that we had everything that we needed before and during the conference. The staff made sure that we had a fire going outside in the fire ring. People who have complained...

We attended a wedding in Cable, WI and stayed at Telemark..... HUGE mistake. The architecture of the place and time warp sense was actually pretty interesting in regard to how this place has stood still in time…. Then the Honeymoon was over.... As we walked to the very last room of a very long hallway, it was a museum of...

When we travel we typically stay in condo's. This one was clearly above average. We stayed in one of the Christiana condo's. It was extremely clean and very spacious. The kitchen had almost everything I needed. The room provided us a very comfortable stay. We typically do a fishing trip each year, staying at a fishing resort, and this was...

Way overpriced for a 1970's Bate's Motel experience. Dirty carpeting and furniture. Housekeeping is minimal - had to do some basic cleaning myself to feel comfortable. Customer service is almost non-existent. Never felt like my business was appreciated or even welcomed.

We stayed at this resort for a family gathering. The rooms were VERY outdated-the toilet leaked and room was very stinky. The carpet was absolute filthy throughout the entire resort. The property was not maintained at all and litter was strewn about the grounds. I contacted the general manager regarding our stay and he gave nothing but excuses and how...

Stayed one long and miserable night at the Telemark Lodge. Place is old, dirty, run down. Stained and threadbare carpet in the halls, peeling mailing label stickers on every door. Linoleum tile peeling away on the bathroom floor, a hole in the wall patched with masking tape. Beds that haven't been updated in at least 20 years, worse than summer...

If you are looking for a quiet and restful place that is full of activities, Telemark is the place to go. The history behind this lodge is phenomenal, which in my opinion, makes up for the somewhat older rooms. If you are looking for a cookie cutter, fresh off the press, pre-fab hotel, Telemark is not the place for you....

We stayed at the Telemark for two nights and cannot believe how overpriced this hotel is. The decor was awful (fluorescent lighting!), the bathroom looked like it was about to fall apart, and the beds were very uncomforable. The breakfast was okay but it took forever. We would not recommend this hotel.
