We stayed at The Delafield Hotel on a whim, after a travel website offered a last minute bargain rate. What an amazing find! Small and elegant, The Delafield Hotel is a classy, old school respite near both Milwaukee and Chicago. We will definitely stay again!

First I will rave about the bathroom. Best shower I have ever taken. The jacuzzi bath was amazing too! I loved the touch of providing bath salts and a loofah. The bathroom tv is a great idea, but didnt really use it since the tub is pretty loud. I loved the aveda products...I now use them at home! The bed... More

First we stayed in the double king room. That was me and my bridesmaids. The rooms are so beautiful and the bathrooms are AMAZING! The guys at the front desk were super helpful. We had an extra girl staying the night we asked for an air mattress. They told us the hotel was really full so they would try to... More

I haven't been to a hotel like this in a long time. Classic beauty is the best way to describe it. There was a bit of a line at check in, and the only employee was doing her best. It took longer than it should have, and there were several people after me. Seems like there should be someone she... More

We experienced an entire weekend at the Delafield Hotel. The main reason was our daughter's wedding reception was held there. It was outstanding. Erin Neureuther assisted in the planning all the way through... from our first meetings through the taste testing to every detail up to and including the event. We can't say enough about the service Erin provided us,... More

My husband and I stayed at the Delafield Hotel to celebrate our Anniversary last week and our stay was simply wonderful. First let me start by saying a few years ago we had our wedding reception at the Delafield Hotel and everyone raved about the food, the service and the ambiance. It was more than we could ever have imagined... More

I was here on business. The room was unexpectedly large. The furnishings were comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was as large as some hotel rooms I have stayed in, and with Kohler fixtures. Definitely a great place to unwind after a full day of meetings. I would be happy to return for a weekend in the future. One note... More

Only stayed one night but would love to have stayed longer. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! Very clean and special platter of cheese and crackers was absolutely delicious. Breakfast at the restaurant on-site was delicious as well, but a little oily.

This hotel is like taking a step directly back into the 1800's with appropriate modern touches where necessary. It even has a wonderful B&B feel without the B&B awkwardness. We arrived in the evening and were greeted by several upbeat young doormen. Complimentary Valet service is offered, even as the parking lot is very close by. But it was nice... More

Very nice historic property, clean, pet friendly, walking distance to great downtown area. But I found it a tad overpriced, the room furniture was organized in a non intuitive fashion, the lighting and placement of the TVs was poor and the WIFI was terrible! For the price it should have the best WIFI in town! The highlight was the beautiful... More
