Wonderful stay at this well equipped and large wood cabin in the north woods of Wisconsin. Kevin and Geri Lee welcomed us warmly showing us the place and made us feel at home. The decor is great and the view of the lake is perfect with a great sunset to close our day and then a pre-made camp fire ready... More

First time here. Set back off the road in a forested area up against a lake, this inn was quite a find. The inn keepers were very welcoming as were their Labradors (which made my husband's day). Their recommendations for local restaurants in the area was appreciated. The room was very comfortable. It was very relaxing and comfy. Will return... More

My wife and I stayed here on a quick NorthWoods getaway, and we couldn't be more pleased! Awesome rustic cabin takes you back in time to the way a vacation should be - relaxing and letting go of the stresses of home. The hosts were extremely helpful, recommended area restaurants and attractions, and took great care of us. Breakfast =... More

I have been to the Inn several times over the past few years and I really can't think of any other place I would stay. All of the rooms at the Inn have private bathrooms and comfortable beds with private balconies. Rooms are very large and furnished with antiques and rustic furniture. The property has many antiques, cute little sitting... More

We just spent two days at Inn at Pinewood. Although it felt like a trip back in time, with lovely antiques and decor, the cleanliness and maintenance of the establishment left a LOT to be desired. The balcony outside of our room was literally falling apart, not fully attached to the building. There was woodpecker damage in many locations. We... More

The hosts were accommodating and pleasant. The breakfasts were excellent. The room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The reason I'm not giving the stay a higher rating is that I felt a bit mislead from the description on the website. I choose the honeymoon suite because the website description said the room had a private deck... More

This is an historic cabin (was a boys camp may years ago) nestled in the northwoods with a private lake for fishing, swimming and boating. The breakfasts included scrumptious quiches, muffins, fresh fruit, etc. The manager/hosts just took over this summer, but they have lots of experience in making the guests feel welcome and comfortable. Our room overlooked the lake... More

My husband and I visited friends who live in Eagle River but could not stay with them due to a cat allergy. The atmosphere was vintage Northwoods--a cozy fireplace, big picture windows overlooking the lake, pinewood paneling, wood plank floors, and interesting antiques. The owners were taking over that weekend for the managers. They went out of their way to... More

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Inn at Pinewood. We drove up to see the fall folliage and were not disappointed. It was amazing. The road leading to the Inn was glowing with yellows and oranges, and reds. Fabulous!! We also took a boat out on the lake to see some of the fall colors up... More

The setting was beautiful, right on the lake. Canoes and kayaks were available for use and I went out on an early morning ride through the rising mist on the lake. Then came a most delicious breakfast, with several kinds of muffins, an egg dish and plenty of fruit. The Inn is a former boys school and the interior is... More
