Thank you so much! We love your farmhouse! Everything is so cute and cozy. Thank you Bob for making the fire on our arrival...it was perfect! All of the little touches you guys have thought of made us feel so at home. (slippers :) Having the cupboards labeled is so nice as well. We will definitely be back and will...

My entire immediate family came up to Stoughton for Syttende Mai. We needed a comfortable place in the area that could keep all of us together and weren't interested in paying for a hotel. I can't say enough great things about this place.... It's well equipped, the backyard and outside space is amazing, my children love running around and playing...

Delightful accommodations! Comfortable house with all the comforts of home. The barn house tour was fascinating. Everything was great from the prairie to the house. Especially enjoyed reading all of the information scattered around the house. The men enjoyed the architectural/restoration aspects of both the farmhouse & barnhouse. And the owners were gracious and generous with their time and we...

Your farmhouse was the perfect place for our families to connect and enjoy a weekend together. Your hospitality and attention to detail made all the difference - we enjoyed the game room, the cozy fires, and especially the tour of the barn and meeting the animals! The fresh eggs for breakfast were delicious, and the toboggan ride along your lovely...

I used the existing reviews on TripAdvisor to select this charming farmhouse to hold our extended family for a weekend in September. We were meeting for Cheese Days in nearby Monroe where there was no reasonable lodging to be had for this popular festival. At first I was disappointed we had to be 30 minutes from Monroe, but not once...

Our family stayed here from December 28, 2014 through January 3, 2015 and we had a very lovely stay. My husband and I had the master bedroom and bath to ourselves, while the adult children had a great bedroom upstairs with their own bath. The night we had the whole family group over (18 of us) there were many comments...

Located in a very rural part of Wisconsin (but not far from Madison) we had a great experience and tons of fun this past weekend. Martha and Bob showed us through the house and explained everything we needed to know. Although they live next door they were definitely not intrusive. This house had just about everything a family gathering would...

We had a wonderful & peaceful weekend at the farmhouse. The boys loved playing outside and looking at the chickens. They even had a chance to play with Bob & Martha's adorable grandson Henry! The grounds are amazing. The house is clean and cozy. We loved exploring the town. The Cooksville Country Store has delicious cotton candy ice-cream! We will...

We so enjoy staying at the Farmhouse. This is an annual trip and we love the peace and quiet of our home away from home. The roads around Cooksville are perfect for biking and we find new adventures every year. Thank you, Martha and Bob, for your hospitality. See you next year! P.S. Love the darts...next year I hope to...

The house had a lot of historic character, but with the modern conveniences of a dishwasher, air conditioning and wifi. I stayed here while visiting family in the area, but the house itself could have been the destination if you were hoping to spend quality time with family and/or were interested in the history of the area. There is more...

The farmhouse, originally built c. 1845, is on the National Register of Historic Places along with most of the village. “This is really a vacation rental where one is charged by the number of people in the party and the number of rooms occupied. Owners live in the beautifully renovated barnacross the property. We occupied only the ground floor bedroom and it was very comfortable.”
