Staff was very kind, handsome young man at the front desk went above and beyond our expectations. Rooms were nice and comfortable beds. Great locations near restaurants, would recommend to all guests.
The guy checking me in was unbelievable. Booked through a website for one person. I needed it to be two people for the two beds I prepaid for. He said he couldn't and so I said I just I would stay there, then he wanted me to take a room with a single bed. I said I thought you couldn't change my reservation. I paid for two beds I want two beds. then he said again I was going to have a bunch of people staying in my room all night. I said I'm in town for a 30th class reunions we didn't come to town to rage at your motel 6. He canceled my reservation and I had to go to find another hotel. I don't know what he thought was going to happen with a bunch of 50 year olds motel 6 in Fond du Lac Wisconsin
Room is spacious. It's mostly clean. It could use updating and better use of the space. I can't complain though. The price was great. Parking is free. The staff was friendly. I see that some people complained about the pool; yeah it was not in operation. I didn't come to use it so I was fine. Dairy Queen is next door.. Walmart is close by also. Small changes could make this motel a 5 star establishment. Overall it was a great stay.
my wife and I stayed for the EAA Airshow festival going on. We were here for about a week. The room we got was just recently updated and was good for it's price. Everyday when we got back to the room, we were always amazed on how cold the room actually got. We will definitely come again!
The room was decently sized and stayed a comfortable temperature, and the employees were very nice, but if we stayed for more than one night it would have not been tolerable. First, the rates were extremely high because they wanted to profit off the airshow in Oshkosh, so the room was twice the price as usual (about $380 compared to usual ~$190- which is honestly still a rip off ) and it was NOT worth that cost. Second, although the bed my partner and I slept in was ok (we slept well), the bed my mom and my little sister slept in kept them up every hour due to being uncomfortable and experiencing back pain (My mom actually resorted to sleeping on the hardwood floor because she felt it was comfier). Their bed also had green stains on the fitted sheet. Other issues included: - Only two rags were provided and one of them was badly stained. - Towels were scratchy and uncomfortable - The shower had weird knobs that looked broken (you could see behind the tub and they jutted out way far) - There was a hole in the wall underneath the AC unit - The deadbolt would not latch on the door - The whole room smelled like wet feet. - The vending machines wouldn't take coins, which isnt that big of a deal, but just annoying. I wouldn't recommend it unless youre getting a good deal, this hotel is worth maybe $70 per night AT MOST.…
