My wife and I traveled to Hartford for a wedding. We were appalled by the run down Super 8. The couch and upholstered chairs were badly soiled and stained. The small frig had a freezer space that was a large chunk of ice. The carpet in the room and all areas of the hotel was soiled and worn out. The building was filthy but we did not have time to look for another hotel. The worst experience we have ever had!
I have stayed here before mostly because of price. It is located in Hartford so it is convenient for me. The continental breakfast does not exist due to covid19. The rooms were clean except for one day that they forgot to make up my room. My biggest concern was both side doors were broken and security locks did not work. I don't understand why they don't get this fixed.
My Family and I booked a room here at the Super 8 Motel for a Birthday party my Son had at his house. Due to limited space at my Son's house,we paid for rooms here at this dirty motel, which charged my debit card twice for a room for, and when asked about the payment the young says oh well, the Manager here is money hungry due to the lack of Business we get here. Now I paid you $100.00 plus dollars for 1 night when my room was $50.00 for the night. I returned later to enter my room, and was told by Management that there was an extra $25.00 to enter my room, and if I didn't pay, which I refused and was told to leave my establishment or the police would be called. This place and the Management is a disgrace to human beings who work hard for there money. You are stealing money to profit for your nasty dirty motel. TM…
I had reserved a king room with a sofa bed and mobility accessible. When we got to the hotel and checked in, it turns out the room I had reserved only had a king bed. The staff person at the check-in desk told me that they don't offer this type of room, and when I showed her my confirmation from the hotel acted like it was no big deal. She was very rude and stated I would have to call corporate customer service to get the problem straightened out, stating "I won't do that." Not only is this hotel's website inaccurate, but the woman at the check-in desk was very rude and spent more time on her cell phone than she did trying to help me. I have stayed at many Super 8 hotels and have never ever run into this type of problem or rude staff before. If you're going to Hartford WI, stay somewhere else!…
We spent 2 nights, with our dog, and it was very nice. We were put close to an outside entrance, for the dog, and the beds were very comfortable for us. The breakfast was also very nice as we left early on the 2nd morning and could just drive home.
