What an outstanding property! Staff most helpful; fishing rigs well equipped and 100% dependable, cabins were very well laid out and clean, grounds were maintained perfectly. I was there for a fishing trip with a buddy but it was clear that the resort finds a way to tend to the sport fishing gang as well as having a strong family orientation. Whether you want to focus on fishing or on family fun with the kids this place is a grand destination. and by the way.........if you go you'll be most impressed by the energy, resourcefulness, and ability of Laurie to treat each and every guest as if they were the most important person in the room even in the midst of a packed bar/lodge office/resturant

From the moment you call to make reservations until even after you have checked out they go beyond to insure you have nothing to worry about. A delivery of a fishing rod from my fishing company didn't come when it was scheduled to be when I was there and left a note in my cabin informing them that it still might come after I have left. They called me a few days later to tell me it still didn't show up and if they should continue to watch for it. I told them that I had the package put on hold at a location so they wouldn't need to worry about it anymore. The following week they called me again saying they a received a call from where I put the hold on it telling them they had a package waiting to be picked up from them. I told them I wasn't able to reroute the package and that my fishing company had already shipped me a replacement rod and they will get the other rod sent backed to them so they didn't have to worry at all. Did they have to go as far as they did? No, not really but that's not the type of people they are. They take pride in insuring that you need not to worry about things and want you to relax, to enjoy your stay, and make great memories at their resort and on the Big Chip. If I was able to give them more than 5 circles or star's I would because they definitely deserved them. This last trip was my 6th trip there and hope many more to come.

This was my 3rd trip to Treeland and was not disappointed. We had great luck fishing and felt very welcome by the awesome staff.I would like to give a heads up to anyone staying at Timber Kove. The duplex is beautiful but I encountered two issues. If you are sensitive to morning sunlight, the bedrooms have skylights with no shades directly above the beds. I was woken up every day by the sunrise. Second, the unit has 1 wall air conditioner for the entire cabin. It is located in the living area in the front of the unit. The two back bedrooms are Extremely hot. There are ceiling fans but really do not do much for the air temperature. Bring several fans, especially if the forecast is anything over 80 degrees.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my nephew on a fishing trip. Room was clean and nice. Lodge was really great. Decor and atmosphere was very North Woods. Food was fantastic, huge portions. Great local beers. Wish they had breakfast. Fishing wasn't too good but we still enjoyed ourselves

Stayed here for 3 nights. Nice long pull through. Concrete patio. Fire pit is also a grill. Beautifully manicured grounds. Privacy at our spot. Only 2 washer and dryers, but very good ones. WiFi really doesn’t work. No cable. Would stay here again
