This is the restaurant we go to when we want to have a really great meal. I have tried many things here and all have been really delicious. Scallops, steaks, lamb, salmon... The brussel sprouts with bacon are to die for. I order than as an appetizer. Great drinks, beautiful view, but if it's busy we wait a LONG time...

I was compelled to review Deep Lake Lodge (my first TripAdvisor review) after I read the very negative review by Davecki. I have been to this restaurant probably 20 times since Tyler bought the place several years ago. He is also the primary chef. I see most of the negative reviews are about steak, and I don't often order steak,...

Deeply disappointed doesn't quite describe my feeling about the overly expensive Deep Lake Lodge grilled chicken salad. Even deeper was the disappointment in the service. Got the order wrong on several counts. Price of glass of wine virtually fraudulent. Though, it was a decent Cabernet compared to what you usually get up here in the boonies.

We ordered black and blue ribeye (me) and my wife ordered the prime rib. My ribeye was beyond grisly (sp?) and not even close to tasting good. My wife's prime rib was basically all fat and no meat. She had more fat leftover on the plate than actual meat eaten. We brought both steaks home with us and eventually threw...

Sis & I were here for a fish fry on a Friday night. The place is cute with a beautiful view of the lake. The fish was fried perfect wiith a light crispy coating. The salad was fantastiic. You check everything you want on your salad on a slip of paper that has many things listed plus pick your dressing.....

Girlfriend and I stopped in on a Friday. My girlfriend ordered the Cod and I ordered a Ribeye medium with a side of asparagus. Steak was cooked to perfection and the fish was delicious as well. Waiter was new and green but did a great job. I highly recommend the Deep Lake Lodge!

Went with my 94 year old aunt, & was treated with grace & patience by our server! She even offered to take a family pic with my iPhone. The food was excellent, from my steak tenderloins, walleye, & salmon dinners. The hot lava chocolate cake was out of this world. It is now called Deep Lake Lodge & Steak House.

We were here as part of a rehearsal dinner. They seated us in a separate space, which was lovely. They had a different menu for us to select from, which was a bit pricey (averaged $17 entrees), but had a nice variety. I had the salmon, and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the perch, and he didn't care for...

Enjoyed our anniversary celebration at Deep Lake Lodge ! Service was good even though it was busy on Memorial weekend. Great cocktails and warm bread to start while filling out the form for salad selections. Salads were great and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I had the 14 oz Ribeye and the wife of 35...
